And, surprise, you are seeing defense and excuse making for the Minnesota cops under indictment popping up on Conservative Media, including the "respectable" National Review.
Not surprised in the least. Many conservativer see killing a black man that way a a good thing, it will help keep the underclasses in their proper place.

I suspect that, like someone with Tourette's who just has to let it out, he reaches a point where his urge to twit something becomes overwhelming, but there aren't always twits pre-recorded by his flunkies ready to dump out the chute.

So he goes with the best he can do without assistance.

Not being able to talk much, at least, and with Trump showing no sign of wanting to hear anything he had to say, apparently. If you want to delve into that more, CNN has a "Listen and compare Trump's call to George Floyd's brother and Biden's call to George Floyd's brother."

I can say, at least, that he has used George Floyd's name. For example -

....These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

I keep on expecting Trump to tweet about how he has a Final Solution for the Black problem in America.
 
Predition:Trump is going to support the Minneapolis officers and say they are being railroaded. You are already seeing this on several conservatve websites.including the every so respectable "National Review".
And, surprise, plenty of racist posts about Keith Ellison on accounf of both his race and his religion.
I have been sort of in denial about it, but no longer:The American Conservative Movbement has either been taken over by or sold out to racists.

To poke at something recent that popped up - this twitter thread pokes at a number of historical elements that help explain how that happened.

To sum up one of the main points in play and dealt with, though -

The origins of the “Religious Right” lie firmly in the Confederacy, which proclaimed itself a “Christian Nation”, one ruled by a God that favored white supremacy, a God that ordained that slavery was right and natural. (wording for that borrowed from here)

From that point alone, it can easily be seen that when the Republican Party pointedly courted the Religious Right, they were giving immense influence in the "conservative" movement to racists - influence that has been used by the racists as much as they could get away with and thus has come to pervade nigh every aspect of the "conservative" movement.

Sleepy Joe Biden’s 1994 Crime Bill was a total disaster. It was mass incarceration for Black people, many of them innocent. I did Criminal Justice Reform, something Obama & Biden didn’t even try to do - & couldn’t do even if they did try. Biden can never escape his Crime Bill!

So great to have Michael home. Just arrived. Very exciting. Thank you to Iran. Don’t wait until after U.S. Election to make the Big deal. I’m going to win. You’ll make a better deal now!
