I don't know Twitter, but did he just retweet his own all-caps catch phrases?

Given he so often expresses contradictory views at different times, he is just showing that he still agrees with his prior tweets... for now.

I am certain it is just ridiculously wishful thinking but I find a number of the recent Republican defenses of Trump to be more lukewarm than in the past. Mattis comes out fully swinging with a very tough criticism of Trump and a number of Republican “leaders” when asked, say “Well that’s his opinion.” That is nowhere near the kind of full blow rebuttal we, and Trump, have come to expect. They are supposed to attack every bit of Mattis’s life, character, and soul. Yet they haven’t. Trump will be pissed!

I sincerely believe many top Republicans despise Trump and are hoping and waiting for him to be wounded enough to pull down and devour. Maybe they sense he is bleeding a little and are looking to see just how blood he is losing.

I just got off the phone with former American hostage Michael White, who is now in Zurich after being released from Iran. He will be on a U.S. plane shortly, and is COMING HOME...

...to the UNITED STATES! We have now brought more than 40 American hostages and detainees back home since I took office. Thank you to Iran, it shows a deal is possible!

A deal? Has anybody asked what we gave up?

YOU DON’T BURN CHURCHES IN AMERICA!

Congratulations to Michael Pack! Nobody has any idea what a big victory this is for America. Why? Because he is going to be running the VOICE OF AMERICA (@VOANews), and everything associated with it...

...Michael is Tough, Smart, and Loves our Country. This has been a big battle in Congress for 25 years. Thank you to our Great Republican Senate! @SenateCloakroom

The problem is not the very talented, low-flying helicopter pilots wanting to save our city, the problem is the arsonists, looters, criminals, and anarchists, wanting to destroy it (and our Country)!

Trumps claim that he gave "Mad Dog" Mattis that name because he didn't like "Chaos" has already been proven a lie.

Now his claim about firing Mattis (asking for his resignation) has also been proved a lie. According to the former Chief of Staff at the time, John Kelly , Mattis resigned in protest and was not asked to resign.

Only fools can't acknowledge that Trump is a pathological liar.

John Kelly didn’t know I was going to fire James Mattis, nor did he have any knowledge of my asking for a letter of resignation. Why would I tell him, he was not...

...in my inner-circle, was totally exhausted by the job, and in the end just slinked away into obscurity. They all want to come back for a piece of the limelight!

The problem with asking for someone to give you a letter of resignation, which you do as a courtesy to help them save face, is that it is then harder to say you fired them. I did fire James Mattis. He was no good for Obama, who fired him also, and was no good for me!

Of course Law and Order are just code words for "Keeping the ******* in their place".

Exactly. I remember someone here (may have been you) made the distinction between law and order and rule of law. That stuck with me.

Sure, Donnie, sure. Because you are just so damned credible and it's John Kelly who is known to be massive liar. So your Chief of Staff wasn't in your inner circle? Let me guess: he just got coffee. Yep. EVERYONE just wants to bask in the glory that surrounds you because your loyalty to all is well known. Freakin' narcissist.

Trump's (personal) DOJ AG Barr lied today when he claimed the protesters in Lafayette Square were "getting increasingly unruly" and "throwing things". There is NO evidence of this whatever. None of the video shows this, none of the reporters there back this and no one at the protest backs this. The video and all the witnesses say it was peaceful. Is there no end to the lying by Trump, Barr and his other cronies?

Few people know where they’ll be in two years from now, but I do, in the Great State of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Senator Lisa Murkowski. She voted against HealthCare, Justice Kavanaugh, and much else...

...Unrelated, I gave Alaska ANWR, major highways, and more. Get any candidate ready, good or bad, I don’t care, I’m endorsing. If you have a pulse, I’m with you!

“Police Groups Break With Biden” @politico His handlers want him to “Defund the Police.” I want more money for Law Enforcement!

Great to be with our wonderful Men and Women of the @SecretService. What a job they are doing!

Even though that's a lie, it's a reminder to GOP running for re-election in Nov. that his endorsement is crucial to winning: don't disagree with or criticize me.

Wow. What a surprise. I'm gobsmacked.

That's an interesting choice of words.

Some people may be familiar with Legal Eagle. (This is a youtube channel where an acting lawyer discusses various topics... legal realism in movies, significant legal cases, etc. Occasionally he talks about current political/legal events (such as Trump's impeachment or the sentencing of Flynn).

His latest video was regarding Trump's photo stunt at the church (and the government's actions to clear out protestors). And he really goes after Trump and his enablers. A very well thought out monologue that covers many of the points here (even the "2nd amendment people are concerned about government tyranny... why aren't they protesting now?")

Well worth watching.

Youtube (Legal Eagle channel)
The point he made about the 2nd amendment larpers was spot on. These people fancy themselves Patriots that covet the 2nd amendment as an important tool to fight against a tyrannical Gov't but the moment the Gov't shows signs of tyranny they're silent or side with the Gov't. They make it clear they'd be the ones to sign up to suit up in riot gear and mow down protesters and not the actual protestors or dissenters.

....well unless you tell them to stay home to avoid contracting a highly infectious virus then it becomes "behold muh 2nd amendment you tyrants"! These people are so full of ****

I see the US Senate Republicans are shrugging off Mattis's comments.
The Senate Republicans are giving us a display of political cowardice unmatched in US History.
And it's a strong argument for term limits. The Founding Fathers never intended that the US Congress should be a lifetime job. Careerism in the congress is killing democracy as GP ongressman are shirking their responsiblity out of pure cowardice.
More and more I am afraid there will be no peaceful solution to this crisis. Maybe after more then 200 years we need a second revolution.
I felt bad for Trudeau and his difficulty addressing how [much more] evil Trump has been acting. A head of state has a lot more reason to equivocate in this area when their largest trading partner is being run by a madman who has proven quite willing to punish those who defy him.

US politicians (perhaps especially Republican senators), on the other hand, have no ******* excuse. Trump has exactly the power they're willing to give him and they should be asked questions about this from today until the day each and every one of them is voted out of office.
