The Trump Presidency: Part 21

@FoxNews just doesn’t get what’s happening! They are being fed Democrat talking points, and they play them without hesitation or research. They forgot that Fake News @CNN & MSDNC wouldn’t let @FoxNews participate, even a little bit, in the poor ratings Democrat Debates.....

....Even the Radical Left Do Nothing Democrats laughed at the Fox suggestion. No respect for the people running @FoxNews. But Fox keeps on plugging to try and become politically correct. They put RINO Paul Ryan on their Board. They hire “debate questions to Crooked Hillary”....

....fraud @donnabrazile (and others who are even worse). Chris Wallace is nastier to Republicans than even Deface the Nation or Sleepy Eyes. The people who are watching @FoxNews, in record numbers (thank you President Trump), are angry. They want an alternative now. So do I!
So Fox is now clearly an enemy too. Everyone is against him! All the press. The Noble prize committee. The scientists who are fighting covid-19. Many Republican governors. Everyone makes up lies about him! In fact everything that happens in the world is just to embarrass and discredit him.

Very scary as he descends even deeper into this paranoia.

Nah. If that is what happened, it just goes to show that the Tweeter in Chief doesn't bother to read his tweets before he hits the send button.

I suggest someone with Twitter test it out and see if it autocorrects. I doubt it.
I believe, with a few exceptions, apps use a common keyboard subroutine provided by the OS. In fact, what gets autocorrected or not can be influenced by your own keyboard use (the phone can learn where you think a letter is and adapt). What it corrects to or suggests is based on your own language style.

One can argue the utility or efficacy of these features, but my point is: it makes other people "reproducing the error" very difficult, too many wild variables at play.

It's similar to people complaining about "all these ads about x" online and tons of people replying back they've never heard of it.

Captain Swoop made me look at Trump's Twitter a several hours ago to see if it was real. It was. So now I looked to see if it was still up. It is. How Noble of him not to hid his idiocy after it's been pointed out.

I used to do that. Then I realised Trump will post any idiotic thing.

I think he's on the edge of a complete nervous breakdown. An "unable to function, needs to be hospitalized" nervous breakdown. His base will blame it on the Dems and the media.

I absolutely agree. And I see his aides and the Republican Congressional leaders just ignoring it and trying to cover it up. He could be running around naked ranting about insects in his ears trying to program his brain and they would still support him. We are in very dangerous times.

Mhm. I'm using Edge because Avast has started blocking Opera for some reason, and the spell checker is set to Norwegian, which makes it mark just about every single word as wrong, but also for some reason makes it capitalize random words (the word "word" gets a capital "w" every time, for example). Spell checkers can be really weird sometimes.

And when the vast, vast majority of 11-year-olds are politely told that because they made a mistake, they need to admit the mistake, and they need to be careful to not make that mistake again, THEY CAN DO THOSE TWO THINGS.

The problem is an 11 year old is in what, 6th grade?

Trump says he never got out of first grade:

"When I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I’m basically the same. The temperament is not that different."

Now its been a while since I had a child development or abnormal psych class, but this should tell you something.

Quote is from an interview with a biographer in 2015.

Does anybody get the meaning of what a so-called Noble (not Nobel) Prize is, especially as it pertains to Reporters and Journalists? Noble is defined as, “having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals.” Does sarcasm ever work?

Then why is it capitalized? It makes DJT look like an idiot. Reporters should ask him about this tweet next time.

This is getting beyond pathetic. Someone has to take his toys away.

Not to mention the "Noble Committee", you know the committee members must be noble to give out such ""Nobles"" as prizes.

What's with the capitalization of "Act" in the question "When will the Noble Committee Act?"? It looks like he thinks there's some kind a statute called "the Noble Committee Act".

I think you've identified the problem.

Even scarier if he actually believes that anyone will buy this crap. His excuses for his prior stupidities have become ever more inane.

So..he's decided that 'sarcasm' is his get-out-trouble keyword when his previous tweet falls flat or into the crazy bin?

Nah, he just sounds desperate at this point.

I grew up with a narcissistic brother, and very often when he was accused of doing things, or realised he had said something wrong, he would act stupid, pretending not to understand what he was being accused of even though he knew it was obvious he had done them, or throwing out some insult, or getting angry, or pretend he was just joking, or else just flounce from the room. Anything but apologising or taking responsibility.

Trump probably knows no one will believe, or maybe even understand, his Word salad about Noble/Nobel. I certainly am not sure I even understand what he's trying to communicate. But he has to do something, because remaining quiet means owning up to his mistake, and as an NPD sufferer, he cannot do that.

Interesting thing is, my brother, during his teens, seemed to learn to take responsibility and apologise. It took a lot of conflict with my parents, and many tantrums, but he got there. Trump seems to have reached his seventies without growing up this way, which is... what should I say, interesting.

The 25th amendment is calling your name, Donald.

I'm IT ignorant although both my husband and daughter are IT/computer engineers so I cannot argue either for or against your post. But if what you say is correct, and I'll assume it is, it still shows that Trump doesn't bother to proofread before sending. You'd think he'd learn after all his covfefe moments.

I'm disappointed in Democrats for not already having an attack ad with the "I take no responsibility" quote.

Too soon. Run that clip nonstop in October. Show parents grieving over a dead child, then Trump. Shoe kids grieving over a lost grandparent, then Trump.

Lather, rinse, repeat until the Dems run out of money.

Oh, and get some Moscow Mitch clips in there as well.
