I promise you you are wrong about my search history. Theres just too much contradictory stuff and if you havent been following the google wars over tech info and the policy of Obfuscation over the past few years, you may not recognize the google that google has become

I value your words and opinion way too much for that. I got testy because it seems you thought so little of me as to just about pull a LMGTFY

I don't think little of you, you were making me frustrated.

What kind of mics are you using and are there instructions for cleaning that particular mic?

https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/how-to-take-care-of-your-microphones/

Start with routine cleaning.

Soap will kill coronavirus:

CDC has good guidelines:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/201...cov/community/home/cleaning-disinfection.html

All that other stuff, H2O2, bleach and alcohol can damage metal and other surfaces. First, you need something safe for your equipment. That information generally comes from manufacturer websites and written information.

Ok, not to get all 'chemistry' on your ***, but peroxide (I'm assuming hydrogen peroxide here) is perhaps, short of bleach, one of the most effective sterilization products ever.

...
All that is well and good if it doesn't damage the surface you are using it on.

Then why, pray tell, is this having such a massive impact the others did not have?

What massive impact? Worldwide, 56 deaths per day. Compare to measles, 250.Nobody is locking down because of measles. Panic is what is having the impact.

You don't see a difference yet?

Yeah, duct tape is sticky in one side. I figure if the **** don't stick to that, wrap the sticky side around my fingers and sort of squeegee the **** off my ass.

Or there is the socks idea, and wash them for re-use. Remember cloth diapers? And diaper pails?

Who do you think should lock down? Most people are vaccinated. The way to address measles is to address the anti-vaxxers and isolate and contact trace cases.

You don't need hand sanitizers. You need general quarantine. Close everything. Stay at home.

Yep, let's see if it worked, and we should know pretty soon, with an incubation of 5 days.

For god's sake, why are you comparing the very start of an outbreak to the end of one?

Does a Formula 1 driver win at the end of the first lap? Does a marathon finish as they leave the stadium?

Your points are complete nonsense.

Meanwhile, after the Christchurch mosque mass murderer, this is the least popular Aussie in NZ of all time.

What kind of moronic, mentally-deranged scumbag gets on a plane to another country when he has an active Covid-19 test?

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/he...sted-positive-while-eating-at-wellington-cafe

And we're trusting him not to break quarantine? I'd have him locked in a very secure cell. He's rightly been banned by Air NZ for life.

Our fake quarantine is ramping up some more.

Now all arrivals from outside Australia are being asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

People are being asked to dob-in workmates who turn up for work without having done this.

China only 20 new cases. Keeping your distance clearly works.

Getting whitey to do that may be a little different.

Haha!

Stealing Jacinda's ideas again. Check out the link I put up in my last post and see the latest in trans-Tasman friendship.

It's clearly everywhere in Aussie.

Huh!

The number of deaths reported for the 1 day period as of today was 428 outside China. Exactly 2 weeks ago the 1 day deaths was 19.

Also, the total number of deaths outside China is on track to exceed those in China in the next 3 days. Remarkable given that the West had a good 6 weeks after China to get ready.

Does that explain why it might be getting a bit of attention?

Because "whitey" won't put up with government enforced, mass quarantine?

Yes, just that.

There are numerous examples of people who are supposed to be in self-isolation who have broken it because they want to.

Again, check out my second-last post - the bloke was supposed to be self-isolating and flew to NZ! Angrysoba told a great story about parents with a sick child with all the worst symptoms who sent him to daycare rather than disrupt their lives for a couple of days.

Rightly or wrongly, Chinese people are used to obeying the damned rules in the face of draconian punishments if they don't.

I don't see Western countries behaving like that.

We lock the doors then Aus does.

Bye bye small businesses.

On the bright side it shows Ardern can finally make a decision without a million dollar committee review.

On the down side it took her 6 weeks and is dumb

With all due respect, the notion that "impact" can be reduced to the single, simple metric "Number of deaths per day" is absurdly naive.

We will see what California does with it. Most of the 'whiteys' here are older. Today in line at grocery 2 latino men complained they would have no child care or school lunch when the schools closed this week. They don't want any quarantine.
No one does really, but some are less equipped to deal with it. Not 'whitey' out this way. Just people in certain circumstances of any color, race, or immigration status.
