More importantly, some of the items from the text of the bill:

TITLE I—End Mandatory Detention and Require Probable Cause for Arrest

SEC. 101. Phase-out of private for-profit detention facilities and use of jails.

TITLE IV—Restore Judicial Discretion and End Removal Without Due Process

None of that is acceptable, obviously. Rights? Ridiculous.

And the Right to Come Home just gives the Attorney General the ability to grant a motion to reconsider or reopen proceedings for people previously deported under conditions that this Act would have prohibited. If someone was deported without due process, they could petition for a review.

Once again I'll voice my hope that Biden's whole run is just him playing the stalking horse for all the GOP hate that he knew any Democratic front runner would be the target of. Sure, let's have another 6 months of Biden this,
Biden that, only to have him gracefully bow out of the race, so that someone else can run in the general election without having been smeared for over a year by Trump's BS machine.
 
Here's a question. Will Biden (or some of his supporters) try to lean into the "Biden fell down in the standings because of the Trump thing" card? Will it work?

The Secret Service is required to tell Congress twice a year about what it spends to protect Trump at his properties.

But since 2016, it has only filed two of the required six reports, according to congressional offices. The reasons, according to Secret Service officials: key personnel left and nobody picked up the job.

Even in those two reports, the lines for Bedminster and Mar-a-Lago were blank.

Something tangentially related to Trump:

Their is the possibility that Senator Susan Collins (of the "I'm sure Trump learned his lesson. Oops, he didn't? Well, my bad" fame) might have been the recipient of illegal campaign violations.

The Campaign Legal Center filed a complaint alleging that the Society of Young Women Scientist and Engineers LLC, which was registered in Hawaii on Nov. 26, illegally funneled $150,000 to the pro-Collins 1820 PAC one month later. The complain, which was first reported by The Daily Beast, alleges that the company is fake and was created to hide the actual source of the funds.

Why is this relevant?
- The republican majority in the senate is thin, and Collins played a role in the votes for Trump's impeachment, Kavanaugh's confirmation, and passing the republican Tax cuts for Millionaires act. If Trump manages to get re-elected, the republicans can't afford to lose too many senate seats if they are going to continue their activities

- The government agency that would get involved (the Federal Election Commission) cannot act, because Trump and the republicans have failed to appoint enough members to keep the FEC functioning.

Yet another example of how Trump and the Republicans are allowing the election process to be corrupted.

The Democrat Party has given up on counting votes in Iowa. Looks like it all got computer “fried”. Nobody knows who the real winner is. Maybe it’s Sleepy Joe, but it’s not looking that way. They lost millions & millions of dollars, all for NOTHING. But I WON Iowa big!

I think they should blame RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA again! If they can’t count votes properly, how are they going to run U.S. HealthCare?

That's the way I read it as well. It would seem that if the majority of the House filed the suit, then it would at least be heard.
I'm not a lawyer but I would think that maybe the people that brought the suit to begin with would have consulted with someone that could have explained that to them ahead of time. Granted I think it sounds a little odd to me that you have to have the majority in order to even bring such a suit but what do I know?

Apparently Trump thinks Pelosi broke the law by ripping up his speech.

President Trump claimed Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) committed a crime by ripping up a copy of his speech at the State of the Union on Tuesday evening.

“I thought it was a terrible thing,” Trump told reporters at the White House before departing for a speech in North Carolina. “It’s illegal what she did. She broke the law.”

He won big, against a couple people who the public may have heard of at some point. He may as well be bragging about beating up a toddler.
On the other hand, the toddler would probably intimidate him in an actual fight.
