The family dynasty might continue if they don't all end up in jail. But not the political dynasty.

Keep in mind, it all dies with Trump. It doesn't matter who follows, there is no real Trump heir. Jared and or Donny Jr will get laughed out of town.

The GOP will find itself full of racists and bigots who can't keep it together without dear leader.

Like it affects so many farmers? Trump Approval Among Farmers Rises to 79% - that's from July 2, 2019. I think that you're overestimating the impact of Trump screwing them over horribly, given the various factors that oppose such. Decades of RW lies and manipulation, for example, that have shaped their worldviews and were specifically shaped to play upon their biases.

The bigger problem is that it's not just Snake-Oil Donny. If it were "just" him and "just" that, that'd be one thing. It's not, which blunts any backlash.

You should have kept reading. It's a 10% loss just since July. By now it will be even lower and falling.
Amid increasing tariffs and controversial biofuels policies, farmer support for President Donald Trump is waning. That’s according to a Farm Journal Pulse poll conducted this week.

The survey of 1,153 farmers shows 71% of them approve of the job Trump is doing. In July, 79% of farmers supported the president. Of the farmers who currently support the president, just 43% strongly approve, which is down 10 percentage points from July.

Ten percent loss in "strongly approve." That is a drop, certainly, but it's also worth noting that Trump and the Republicans have been horribly screwing them over in so many ways for how long, now, while offering carrots of a somewhat different nature? Polling numbers for the pro-Republican voters have been how resilient? I wouldn't immediately assume that those drops will stick.

Incidentally, when I talk about carrots, I'm talking about things like the fact that many of the Republican rigging the vote schemes have revolved around giving rural Republican-leaning voters dramatically more effective weight for their votes than, say, Democratic Party-leaning city dwellers.

Indeed. To be clear, "blunts" is not "eliminates." Damage is being done, but much less than would be expected, were one to be relying on how he's actually been treating them.

What's likely to happen is that the Dems win in 2020 and the economy continues to falter or maybe worse. Then the GOP will scream it's all the Dems fault, ignoring Dump's four years of disaster economic (non)policies.

Of course. But that is no reason not to remove Trump & Co. Unless the idea is to allow the USA to not only go down the ****-chute but to also splash deep into what is at the end.

....A man named @VanJones68, and many others, were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit. But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise. Guys like boring.....

....musician @johnlegend, and his filthy mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is - but I didn’t see them around when we needed help getting it passed. “Anchor” @LesterHoltNBC doesn’t even bring up the subject of President Trump or the Republicans when talking about....

It doesn’t make a difference. Every two months it’ll drop 8-percentage points. At what level of support do they look for someone else. Unless they start looking for another candidate when it hits 55% approval, it’ll be too late to look for another guy because there won’t be enough time to reverse the cancellation of primaries in the states that have already called them off.

So if President Trump gets re-elected, there is no way he won’t serve out the term. If a rational president loyal to his or her party values dropped to 10% approval among his or her party, then that person would see the writing and resign. Even if it got to the party leaders suggesting it to him in a closed-door meeting, that president would resign. But President Trump is not a rational President. He could drop to 10% approval in his own party and he’d be screaming FAKE POLLS FAKE NUMBERS. Then what is left to do? 26th Amend.? Impeach? At that point he’d scream A DUPLICITOUS COUP, INIQUITOUS TREASON, PERFIDITY ABOUNDS, perhaps even DIEU ET MON DROIT before calling for martial law.

This isn't Trump typing at all. Trump would have made at least a dozen spelling and grammar errors in this, and would certainly be unable to maintain a coherent thought throughout. It's clearly from someone with a very nasty streak a mile wide, like Obergruppenfuhrer Miller tip-tapping on Donny's phone.

I hate to say this, but this looks like Donny's hit-squad using the demented state of the US president as a cover for this sort of ****-stirring.

...but then he ran for Congress and won, only to lose his re-elect after I Tweeted my endorsement, on Election Day, for his opponent. But now take heart, he is back, and running for President of the United States. The Three Stooges, all badly failed candidates, will give it a go!
