Sen. Marsha Blackburn
@MarshaBlackburn
The independence of our judicial branch is under attack.
Our Democrat colleagues’ threats to pack the Court are an explicit effort to further their radical agenda.

@SenateGOP will not stand idly by & watch them destroy our nation’s highest court. http://bit.ly/2PmgVzX

Mike Enzi
@SenatorEnzi

The Supreme Court should rule in cases only as the law dictates, without regard to the identity of the parties or politics of the moment. I joined @senatemajldr & other Senate Republicans in condemning recent threats to pack the Supreme Court.

“The IG found that James Comey leaked Classified Documents to his attorneys, which can be (is) a violation of the Espionage Act. This is consistent with all the lies that Comey has been spreading.
@GreggJarrett @ByronYork @LouDobbs

That is the exact opposite of what the IG determined. The exact opposite.

Has anyone noticed that the top shows on @foxnews and cable ratings are those that are Fair (or great) to your favorite President, me! Congratulations to @seanhannity for being the number one shoe on Cable Television!

And here he is unwittingly admitting that there are shows which portray him fairly and other shows that portray him as great, which means that anyone on the network saying he is great is not being objectively fair.

While Madeleine Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she is a very good person and I don’t think there would ever be reason to use it. She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!

Yes, I am currently suing various people for violating their confidentiality agreements. Disgusting and foul mouthed Omarosa is one. I gave her every break, despite the fact that she was despised by everyone, and she went for some cheap money from a book. Numerous others also!

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, which is happening, and then, KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

This is what could get more GOP members to abandon Trump:

President Trump Tweets Sensitive Surveillance Image of Iran

Taiwan shared information about Chinese rockets that were fired near their island. The Taiwanese government stated that there was nothing to fear since the payload was only test equipment. That was enough information to alert the Chinese to the possibility that there was a Taiwan spot in their missile program. He was found and executed.

"We had a photo and I released it, which I have the absolute right to do," the president told reporters late Friday.

Yes, he just doesn't get the distinction between "I have the authority to do this" and "Doing this is a really bad idea".

Similarly, he has the power to pardon every prisoner held in federal custody, but doing that would be a really bad idea.

Unfortunately, the non-lunatic fringe are electorally insignificant.

Except in the Senate impeachment vote and other legislative votes that might garner defectors.

These kinds of things chip away at Senate allies. I'm not saying one thing is going to be the thing.

If Trump believes that he can enforce his nondisclosures agreements against former White House or campaign employees who speak about the improprieties they witnessed, then he is wrong. His broad NDAs are unenforceable under contract law, under whistleblowing and anti-retaliation protections, under freedom of information laws, and under constitutional law. When it comes to the president of the United States, the public interest in access to the information surely outweighs any interest in contract enforcement.

“They could have charged Comey with theft of government documents, 641 of the Criminal Code, because the IG found these were not his personal documents, these were government documents.” @GreggJarrett “Comey’s claim that these were just his own personal recollections would not..

Nope. Justice Manual says “inappropriate” to charge 641 when:(1) subject is intangible property, i.e., government information; (2) purpose is public dissemination; and (3) property was not obtained by wiretapping, interception of correspondence, criminal entry or trespass.

And even if he could win a case, **** it, it's just civil courts. The worst thing that could happen would be having to pay him, and if you're the person with the smoking gun that finally does him in, it's a lock that the GoFundMe to cover your costs would be one of the most successful in history.

CNN fact checking found Trump lied an average of almost 8 times per day for a period of 6 weeks (July 8 - August 18). That's 328 lies in 6 weeks. Do his supporters care? Nah. After all, every politician lies.
