Well, I was off visiting family, so... little roundup time.
What a lying sack of ****.
I chose Craig4's post arbitrarily for brevity. Here's
Pence's take on it... with a little pointing out of the obvious. Spineless coward is a kind way to put it.
Ah, yes, Superman. An illegal immigrant himself.
American Hero! Sent on a journey to America all alone as a baby by parents who wanted their child to survive a tragedy. Just think, if he was sent here now, he would probably be extremely traumatized and end up destroying the US and likely the world, either actively or simply by stepping back and laughing as all those villains did their thing.
That's the most awesome thing I've see all week!
Pay a bit more attention to Fox and you'll see
a lot of similar instances of total lies as headlines and contents. Fox is a Republican propaganda outlet, after all.
Not accurate though. That last sentence makes no sense
It makes perfect sense, because that was quite clearly exactly what was meant by it.
It's not hate for the "brown people", or racism or evangelicals that got Trump elected,
Correction. It's not "just" those things. There were a LOT of factors, mostly deeply problematic and extremely outrage worthy, that played into Trump getting both the Republican nomination and winning the Presidency. That we don't see Republicans getting outraged at them, though, makes it pretty obvious that either they're remarkably ignorant or their outrage at a whole bunch of other things is fake or, to be more exact, little more than a trained reaction to Republican propagandists directing them to get outraged at something, without regard to whatever facade of principles the propagandist invokes on that particular occasion.
it is liberal progressives shoving their ideals down peoples throats for the past few decades. People have had enough of this crap.
Historical revisionism is just about always ugly, and even moreso when the people are trying to re-envision recent history through a lens comprised of so many brazen propaganda lies that it's mind-boggling.
Actually y'all could have won had you not run Hillary. But now? Your hate is out in full force. The crying, the accusations and fingerpointing, it's not going to work. You are doing it wrong. This forum is the same way.
Here are a couple
more insightful posts than yours.
Of those, well... yes, crying, accusations, and fingerpointing generally aren't going to make blind supporters of Trump support him less or less blindly. Chances are actually unfortunately significant that Trump will get even more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, like in previous cases where Republicans put forward brazenly racist white supremacists like David Duke, as noted in that first link. On the other hand, by pointing out the ugly actual truth constantly, the more numerous and less engaged Democrats will be more likely to actually participate and the independents, too, will end up favoring the much less objectionable Democrat. Much like in 2018, "doing it wrong" in the "kindly" offered opinions of Republicans ended up with a pretty overwhelming victory for Democrats.
In random news...
Dem cities in Florida just figured out how to beat governor's voter suppression
To some extent, at least. They're converting a number of the fees for a bunch of people to community service. Any restitution owed to victims remains untouched, though, of course. Either way, good for the Democrats.
Gretna, La. Police Officer Posts that AOC "needs a round" after being Angered by Fake News Report.
Short version? Officer is enraged by an article that even has "Satire" written in its picture, declares that AOC should be shot. His superior declares that it was deeply concerning that he did that, but that he'll be doing his best to keep punishment as an "internal" affair.
The alt-right has a plan to win 2020, and it involves YOU—so listen up
Short version? Republicans are doing their best to sow discord and dissention while poisoning the waters all around.
Next up,
the Governor of Puerto Rico is being called upon to resign by... a truly remarkable number of Puerto Ricans. There are apparently nearly as many
publicly protesting as voted him into office in the first place.
