The British called for reinforcements to be flown in but their plane was stuck on the taxiway waiting for a gate to open.
If they had a journey like one I had, it's no wonder they were late...
I arrived in Philly from Heathrow on time, with a few hours wait for the Albany plane.
Got on the Albany flight and it started taxiing on time. Then we joined a long queue - the lady in the window seat said she could see 26 planes in front of us in the queue, and couldn't see all of the planes.
Of course, they entered on the website that we'd taken off. So - Magrat left home to drive to Albany airport. Got there to find that they didn't know where 'my' plane actually was.
It took more than an hour and a half for us to finally get in the air.
The journey between Philly and Albany normally takes a bit more than an hour...
