I certainly grant that every day on the US/Mexico border is a very busy day and there are border issues aplenty all the time. And not enough resources to do the best or fastest job as well. But it's hardly a "National Emergency" or some sort of invasion as trumpeted continuously by Donny. A hurricane is a "National Emergency", not a longer line of folks at the immigration courts.

The topic of this thread is the emergency at the US-Mexico border, not airports.

Since you need reminding, it was you who cited "border crossing" statistics. This is an example of why that figure doesn't necessarily mean U.S.-Mexico border.

If you consider discussion of other borders off topic, then you're the one who went off topic.

Nothing else. If children dying at the border was an emergency he would've declared one in September. In successive acts, he's declared "making an end run around Congress' authority to provide funding" as a Trumpian National Emergency. This nonsense and the financing for the arms package to the sitting ducks in the Persian Gulf. In both of them, he and his lackey turds created the conditions and then come up with dubious statistics and intelligence to make it so.

It’s not even the source, it’s that it is just one guy’s quote. You could find a guy who says the real problem is Griffins and Hydras at the border if you want. Some partisan Trump toadie isn’t much to base an emergency on.

If you think the quote by the Border Patrol Chief is made up, not much I can help you with then. The Border Patrol Chief is in a more authoritative position to ascertain whether the crisis has reached emergency level than you are.
