Weirdo Tom Steyer doesn’t have the “guts” or money to run for President. He’s all talk!
Did you have have one of those days in which you wish irony were painful?

That's some motivation.
Goodness. The current president is saying that not even all billionaires can mount a run. This should be a problem to be fixed, not an opportunity for gloating.Trump Tweets

That just delays the inevitable, however, unless his successor pardons him. And even then, it depends whence the prosecution comes.

Which of course would probably cause the Republicans to lose the next election. The only way I see him getting a pardon is if me makes an arrangement with Pence to step down then have Pence pardon him. That just delays the inevitable, however, unless his successor pardons him. It may depend on the crimes he is accused of. Many crimes have a statute of limitations, and he may be hoping that he won't be prosecuted if he stays in office until 2024 because the time needed to charge him will have run out.Re: Trump wanting to stay president to avoid legal problems...

There is mention of Mueller's team getting a sealed indictment against Trump, which would get around the whole "statute of limitations" problem, because legal action would already have been started. (There may however be issues regarding the constitutional requirements for a "speedy trial".)

Of course, even if Trump realizes that jail time is inevitable, he may be thinking "my crimes will put me away for the rest of my life. Better to stay out as long as possible before facing justice".

I can't help picturing Tina Faye with a flute.damn. and I was sure the answer was going to have 'ping pong balls' in it.
His whole life has been about delaying the inevitable. I have no idea how he lives with it.
another superlative for Trump!

Trade Deficit is the highest ever, and the biggest monthly jump in deficit in 10 years.
Take that Obama!
Following that failed stand-up routine at CPAC, most of us out here are no longer bothering with evaluating the impact of Trump's popularity poll numbers. Instead, we are wondering: What the actual **** is wrong with your president??! And do you have a backup?

Policies can be changed.
