UPDATE: After Jussie Smollett turned over "limited & redacted" phone records, Chicago police spokesman @AJGuglielmi tells @ABC7Chicago "We are very appreciative of the victim's cooperation however the records provided do not meet the burden for a criminal investigation..."

To think of the thousands of hours wasted on this hoax and his race grifter supporters fills me with contempt.

ETA: Sigh. I'm not sure about this now. Can't find a reliable report of where his manager was in relation to the condo. I found one report that said he was taken to the hospital by his manager. Earlier in this thread there were reports he'd gone to the hospital on his own but I can't find a source for that.

Friend took Smollett to hospital.

Okay, one more try.

Jussie Smollett should have simply shown the police his phone screen when they arrived so that they would have some indication that he was indeed talking to his manager on the phone at the time of the attack.

That would have ended suspicion by the police about that, since the officers would at least have seen good evidence that the phone call part of the story was true.

Hi! 1. there have been new things, all of them detrimental to the race hoax

2. Take a gander at this sentence, closely, with the eye of a skeptic: "There's been absolutely nothing new in over a week, yet the disbelievers have found mutual cause to celebrate their lack of findings for six or seven new pages." Now, why would "disbelievers" ( :rolleyes: ) celebrate the "lack of findings"? I betcha if one put their noodle to it, one would recognize that the egg did not end up in the ramen bowl, but rather on our correspondents face.

That's what I thought too however now I'm not sure. As I said in my edit I've found conflicting reports of that.

If you believe this however, do you realize that the screen shot the police say they have could not have been obtained in Chicago because the phone would have been with his manager in California?

There has been no new evidence of any sort. Remember when you used to be a skeptic? There has been as much to support his story as there has been to falsify it. Specifically,.... zilch.

And since the closing line was apparently too subtle for you, perhaps others would like to take note of the usual suspects and the number of posts in the thread for each. THERE. IS. NO. NEW. REPORTING. You guys are just raking up the muck re-stating your very subjective opinions over and over.

I believe he didn't because he never said he did, despite the doubts about the phone call from the start.

Plus, I believe the police would be less insistent if they had already seen a record of the call. They would already know the official record exists, and so they could table that for now.

Besides, this discussion was really just about what Smollett might have done to comply. We do not know what he actually did, or didn't do, when the police arrived. We have a few tidbits in the media, and that's about it.

The NY Post story about tracing the route and finding the bottle was new to me...

I think there hasn't been any new bigfoot or UFO evidence in decades...

There's been the fact that no cameras saw the alleged perpetrators.

It is conceivable that the attack would have occurred out of the sight of cameras, but how then would you explain the fact that 2 suspicious individuals were not seen entering or leaving the area where the attack occurred before or immediately after the attack, although Smollett was? The absence of evidence where evidence should exist if the story is true is a kind of evidence.
