It's even worse!
Here is an article by Board member
Christopher Gruener:
Become a Member of the TAP Team (March 30, 2017)
This was written more than three months after David Fura had this wet dream of "
a million-plus signer target by the end of year 2020" - now they upgraded to an imagined
four-million-plus!
And not only that - Chris imagines that these 4 million+ would not only have filled out an easy form and then forgotten all about it - no: He pictures them all "working in tandem". This chap really has had too hot a fever dream!
Reality check:
- By the end of 2017, the 911TAP petition will be under 3,200, not exceed 32,000
- By the end of 2020, they will have reached under 10,000, not 4,000,000 and not 1,000,000
I'd bet on those numbers.
Quick reminder:
Here is the
911TAP, and here is their
Petition.
Upthread, I detailed the targets they set for this Petition:
- 32,000 signatures after the 1st year (2017)
- 160,000 signatures after the 2nd year (2018) - that's an increase over the 1st year by a factor of 5
- 1,000,000 signatures after the 4th year (2020) - that would correspond to a factor of 2.5 in both 2019 and 2020 over the previous years
I already documented how they reached only 8.5% of their 1st-year target - 2,715 instead of 32,000 signatures.
Now the 2nd year has passed, and they added only another 1,023 signatures in 2018, for a total of 3,738 by the end of the year.
That is 2.3% of their target at this point in time.
Instead of increasing the total by a factor of 5, they increased by a factor of 1.38.
Put in a different way, to highlight how dramatically bad they have fared:
They hoped to collect 4 times as many signatures in 2018 as in the year before - but actually the number decreased by a factor of 2.7!
If they maintained the current pace linearly - adding just a bit obver 1,000 signatures per year, they'll end up at under 6,000 after 4 years.
If they magically managed to at least keep growing by 137%, they'd get near 8,000 signatures.
That is not even 1% of their actual target of 1 million after 4 years.
Of course, their pace keeps decreasing: In 2017, they averaged more than 203 signatures per month.
In the first half of 2018, that was down to 92/month
In the third quarter: 90/month
In the fourth quarter: 60/month
In the last month: 40/month
Those must be deeply depressing numbers for them.
Here is their latest "
911TAP Petition Project Quarterly Progress Report (2018 Q3)", written at the end of November (and online only at some point in December). Here is how they analyze the desaster:
911TAP said:
We highlight areas of the country that are making the most progress towards generating that "groundswell of civic action" we are all striving for. We explain what the leaders are doing to maintain their leads, and what the up-and-coming regions are doing to overtake them
This is complete bollocks: In reality, they have only one team, one region that is at all active collecting signatures: David Fura in the Portland, OR region. It can be shown that even Portland, OR is not generating its fair share of signatures.
So the plurals "areas", "leaders", "up-and-coming regions" are hogwash, especially when mentioning "most progress" or "to overtake them". There is no progress anywhere, and no region comes even remotely close to Oregon.

During the 3rd Quarter, Oregon added 157 petitions to retain its number 1 position. Massachusetts did well with 23. Washington was respectable with 17, mainly from paper petitions collected in Portland, Oregon.
O blimey!! 23 is not well at all for MA!!!!
If the Project had been on target, to increase from 32,000 to 160,000 in 2018, at a steady annual rate of 400%, then they should have collected over 35,000 signatures total in Q3, most of which in the USA. MA has 2.1% of the US population, its fair share would thus have been something like 700 signatures. 23 is a TERRIBLE result for Massachusetts!
Oregon, with 1.27% of the population, ought to have generated 400 and more signatures - even their 157 petitions is just a third of what they projected.
Washington is
respectable? Washington is a
complete and utter failure! No one is collecting signatures
in Washington state!
911TAP said:
As described below, the relative out-performance of the states mentioned above, relative to their populations, is due to successful efforts at collecting signers using paper petitions.
No, dear 911TAP!! These efforts are most decidedly
unsuccessful!

Discussion
A total of 271 petitions were collected in the 3rd Quarter of 2018. This is a decrease of 34 (11%) from the 305 petitions collected in the 2nd Quarter. At this pace, 1107 people would sign the 911TAP petition for a new, independent 9/11 investigation in 2018. This is roughly half of the 2102 people who signed the petition in 2017.
As it turned out, they landed at even less

These 3rd Quarter results reinforce, yet again, the significant amount of work that needs to be undertaken to build a sustainable ramp in petition sign-up activity that would support 911TAP achieving its Top-Level Goal, as defined in its Strategic Plan. By the end of this year a new petition plan will be put in place to upgrade the overall strategy for collecting petitions and to update the project goals.
I have not seen this new petition plan yet.
911TAP said:
The initial four-year petition targets, with 32,000 in year one and 160,000 in year two, are out of reach at this point.
You don't say!?
I wonder if the new petition plan comes with revised targets, and what those will be.

The 911TAP petition count is a proxy for the overall progress of 911TAP in multiple areas, including local action team development, alliance building, and truth-friendly media partnerships. As more teams get to work in the field, petition numbers go up. As website traffic increases because of noteworthy projects and favorable mentions in Truth-friendly media, petition numbers go up. The performance of the petition project will improve as we see improvements in areas such as these.
Since the numbers are dropping, not going up, we can conclude that there is
no overall progress of 911TAP,
no local action team development,
no alliance building, and
no truth-friendly media partnerships. That
no teams get to work, and there are
no noteworthy projects and favorable mentions in Truth-friendly media.
The 911TAP Petition Project is an
abject failure in every single way, no redeeming fact in sight anywhere. They hang their hopes on this:

The early part of the 3rd quarter saw us take some necessary steps in these directions. Outreach materials for use in tabling activities and display booths have been developed and are being made available across the country. This will support activists who prefer to work together as teams rather than on their own. The following picture shows a recently-designed banner, sign, and information display. The article linked here describes their use in two booth events in Portland, Oregon.
911TAP Truth Booth Debuts at Portland Street Fairs
So they have a booth designed - and this will bring the millions rushing to sign, and bring an end to the Deep State?
I have a question for 911TAP:
Are you nuts?!?
911TAP said:
We will continue on-going efforts to create new action teams and complete projects designed to drive new website traffic. As we continue to grow as an organization and increase the scope of our activity, and as we apply lessons learned from experience and improve our methods and tools, we look forward to getting the petition numbers onto an accelerating track as we enter 2019.
Six days into 2019, they have added a whopping 3 (three) signatures. Half a signature per day.
According to their original schedule (increasing from 160,000 to 400,000 in 2019), they should have added more than 2,400 signatures.
Even if they only aimed at growing by 150%, as originally planned, from the dysmal total they have, they should be adding 300 signatures (10 per day) in January.
The smart thing to do is can the Petition Project at once, and analyse keenly why there are no activists, and why there are no signatures.
The answer to both questions, ultimately, is of course: Because there is zero truth to your claims, nobody is convinced - not even your followers.
