HappySkeptic99, did you see a prospectus for the 2016 offering? I just looked through something called the Second Quarter Update April 4, 2018 (https://www.brilliantlightpower.com...resentations/Second-Quarter-Update-040418.pdf) and one of the things that struck me was how positive all the statements were about the status of their research and product development. The thought occurred to me that Mills could be taking on serious legal jeopardy for some of this and that they would need to be a lot more constrained with the language in a real prospectus.
However, I also noticed something called a Safe Harbor Statement near the front of this document:
Is this enough to protect Mills? I doubt it if the prospectus was as unequivocal about how well everything was going with regard to BLP research and development as the Second Quarter Update was.
One thing that really sticks out about how crazy all this is to this former electrical engineer is the ridiculously over optimistic ideas that Mills has about product development. If he did have a functioning prototype they still might be years away from shipping their first real product. But that doesn't stop him from making ridiculous claims about how close they are to real product deliveries. But of course, Mills has never had a real prototype working when he goes off on his claims of imminent production devices. And, most of the time, people don't start the development phase before the research phase has provided proof of concept prototypes. I don't think Edison started spending money on the development phase of the light bulb as a product until his research phase had created a working light bulb prototype that could be a basis for a viable product.
You're just picking on him because he's breaking with tradition.
How soon?Soon it will make you sick but in another way.
Development would have been faster with some support.

Countries that rely on fossil fuels for income should have been very interested in hydrinos...either to capture that market, or to suppress the idea.
The web like hydrino hydride compounds have been characterized.

If someone was into conspiracy theories they might conclude that the reason for Mills' consistent history of failure is that he is being paid off by a foreign government to make it all look like a scam and divert attention from hydrinos. It would be great to receive extra pay for what he was already doing anyway!
There have been many iterations of the SunCell reaction, don't make the mistake of conflating them into one entity.
The reaction is not self sustaining. As far as I'm aware there needs to be at least occasional pulses of high current to deal with the charge buildup (from ionized catalyst) that would inhibit the reaction.
How would someone who cashed in their retirement savings to invest in Mills 25 years ago and retired 10 years ago be doing right now?

But you probably guessed that.
According to Investopedia:It has never been possible to invest in BLP unless you were in some way an “accredited investor” which means already wealthy if you are an individual rather than a company.
The article goes on to give an example, from which it is clear that 401(k) accounts count toward the net worth. A married couple in the San Francisco area, both working as software engineers, would probably qualify on the basis of annual salary. So I'm sure some of the folks participating in this thread qualify as accredited investors, even if they might have to sell some of their Apple or Microsoft stock before making a major investment in anything more esoteric.Investopedia said:To be an accredited investor, a person must have an annual income exceeding $200,000, or $300,000 for joint income, for the last two years with expectation of earning the same or higher income in the current year....
A person is also considered an accredited investor if he has a net worth exceeding $1 million, either individually or jointly with his spouse.
Investopedia said:While hundreds of business ventures are eagerly awaiting capital funding from such accredited investors, it’s the individuals with deep pockets who need to remain aware about the high risks involved in such ventures.
We can only hope.As BLP have recently appointed a “Transfer Agent” (Carta) it is possible that they are preparing for an IPO. That would surely be a flop unless they can produce some really convincing results, publicly demonstrated.
The last investor in 2016 was Carlos Slim. He invested 10 Million, at the highest valuation yet. I no longer have access to the financial data I was looking at, but from memory the valuation was around 6 Billion dollars.
As of today, we have to wait a mere 28 (58) (-4) days before the world has concrete, independent, evidence of the existence of a hydrino-powered generator. So sayeth markie and tlp/Holvestott.As of today, we have to wait a mere 29 (59) (-3) days before the world has concrete, independent, evidence of the existence of a hydrino-powered generator. What happened to michaelsuede, who began this epic set of threads on BLP etc? His last post in the ISF seems to have been on 3rd June 2017, 10:39 PM. In the original 2017 thread. Did he make a bet? If so, did he pay out? Stay tuned!
And the partial Mills fan, from the 2010 thread, Bishadi? Well, the account is banned, and the last post (dated 4th April 2011, 04:46 AM) seems to have had nothing to do with BLP/Mills, etc.
Development would have been faster with some support.
The problem you and others have is, no 'commercial device' is just about all your vision entails.
Thats why Mills won't send prototypes to independent test sites. He'll need to make a product before too many takes his seriously.
The best thing to do at this time would be to put this thread into hibernation until Mills produces a commercial product. The constant attempts by the believers to try and find some shred they can based their hopes on has become boring and repetitive.
Unfortunately their goal or 'job' is to unceasingly try to create the idea there is some hope or possibility in this long running scam - so stand by for endless repetition!
However
Maybe Mills will sell out and retire - perhaps he has sensed that the game is up.
For me, BLP has been interesting for a long time. Not so much because I thought there was a substantial chance that any of Mills's gadgets would work or that there was something to his science. d. I never believed that and over time have moved to the point of near certainty that BLP will never produce a device that produces more energy than can be explained by routine physics. The best thing to do at this time would be to put this thread into hibernation until Mills produces a commercial product.
