Ed George Soros and others targetted by Terrorist

Even more than that... that very same article has this exact quote from her: "I want to stop the degrading of the rule of law." I'm pretty sure violence would be something considered outside the "rule of law".

Trump made it explicitly clear at least three times in recent weeks: The Party of Trump only believes in the Rule of Winning.

Wow, reading through his tweets at @hardrock2016

This is a whack job.

Note a large gap in his tweets between July 2016 and Jan/Feb 2017

Wonder if he was in jail, or insitutionalized.

It is my sense that both sides are guilty of demonizing the other side to the point where weak-minded individuals buy into the rhetoric of the other side as not just mistaken or misinformed, but actively evil. Hilariously, there are quite a few posters harrumphing about this incident who will probably respond that there's a difference: Republicans actually are evil.

I also note that gee, we have never heard anybody around here suggest a second amendment solution to Trump. Well, not for long anyway; the mods are real good at cleaning those up.

Trump openly and unambiguously advocates for criminal violence.

That the best you can counter with is what some random internet poster might have said pretty much tells the whole story.

Here comes the aggressive fence sitting.

Can't bad things by one side be condemned without some call to another side? Why must counterbalance always be sought? Is calling to violence by the POTUS and attempts at violence by his followers wrong or not, irrespective of what someone somewhere else did or said?

A certain individual that is so vested in his knee-jerk conservative ******** that he listens to Sirius/XM "Patriot" radio while also listening to the local right-wing radio station (one source at a time isn't enough) has informed me of the following:

Rush Limbaugh lives in Florida. Limbaugh reports that the van as featured in news reports can't be real - Limbaugh says that any vehicle in south Florida covered w/ pro-Republican messages would be immediately vandalized and would be undriveable. In addition to that, all the stickers etc. are new, because the South Florida sun fades stickers so quickly that they are unreadable shortly after being put on...

This person has a photo of the van in the same condition that he asserts is at least a year old.

So we're moving away from "this was a prank LoL quit being babies, damn libs" to, "he's not a repub, he's a nutcase"?

Just curious, I've got my walking shoes on and ready to chase some goalposts.

Specific calls for violence are wrong, and some blame can be assigned if violence follows from those calls.

But he never called for bombs (snip)

Come on, Zig. Don't you think leaving the method to the crazies is just as bad as specifying it? The point is that Trump clearly encourages violence, so the question is whether he should be held responsible.

Wray says even if the packages didn’t explode, they could have: “They did contain energetic material which if subjected to the right combination of heat or shock or friction could be dangerous to the public."...

like strapping a hand grenade on it, or shooting into the Sun.

score another one for The Big Dog!

Every scenario was that it was a crazy person.

My theory still stands that he could have been a crazy Bernie supporter, and then wen't NEVER Hillary when Debbie Wasserman screwed Bernie over in the Primary.

He's obviously a nut job. We have them on both sides of the aisle.

See, that's the thing with weights on a balance. Sure, there may be a heck of a lot more weights on one side, but aren't there weights on BOTH sides, and if so, why bother with any of the weights on my side, the other side has weights too!

All over my facebook feed:

What about the shooter who was a Bernie supporter?!

I believe the best replies to that are, and correct me if I'm wrong:
1) That Bernie shooter is an a-hole too. Violence is rarely ever the answer.
2) Did Bernie call the media and/or Republicans enemies of the people?
2a) Who will rid me of this turbulent priest?

3) Whatever side you are on, work on toning down the people on your own side, because the other side sure as heck isn't going to listen to you. And violence on the other side in no way mitigates violence on your own side. That is just passing the buck.

Expect the rationalizations and deflections to get quite a bit worse all around, but specifically from the Trump supporters and GOP. The worse the behavior of their leader and party, and the more clear it is, the more horrible the acts they'll have to accuse non-supporters of to 'balance' it. Without that, they can't even rationalize their support of Trump to themselves. Don't expect them to take personal responsibility for their mistakes.

It will be increasingly crazy false equivalencies like the left wanting to genocide the right and calls to be less polite being the same as calls to violence.

Wait, both of those have already been presented by posters on these boards...
