You don't have to "imagine" if you read the coverage of Trump. He condemned (cough) the actions and then blamed the media for promulgating hate. Like, you know, he thinks he has nothing to do with ratcheting up the rhetoric with all that cheering-on of the forces at his bundt rallies and saying that his new hero is a guy who body slams a member of the press.

At this moment, the motive for the (possibly not activated) bombs (as I see it) is this:

The sender anticipated that when receiving the bombs, the Leaders of the Deep State Resistance against Trump would lose their **** and start their violent overthrow of the Government prematurely. This would allow Trump to quash the rebellion and identify all its members.

Not to mention that authorities, Police, Homeland Security and other forces are required to treat the said devices as real. That wastes a helluva lot of their time, and inconveniences thousands of people.

And there are ripple effects. Time Warner Center (where CNN is headquartered) was evacuated again yesterday for a time, the day after the original bomb incident, because another suspicious package was found.

Her post was addressing the blame and Trump infamously got up there and read a ghosted presidential-sounding statement and then immediately shifted to blaming the media that picks on him for the violent/aggressive tone that political discourse has taken.

Do you not agree that Trump is at least somewhat to blame for that tone? Or have you gone Sarah Parseltongue on us, too. HOAX? Former Navy EOD Officer Explains Why 'Bombs' Addressed To Democrats Almost Certainly Meant To Be Intercepted

Former Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officer Tom Sauer authored a viral Twitter thread concerning the potentially explosive packages addressed to prominent Democrats on Wednesday. According to Sauer, it's extremely likely that the packages were meant to be intercepted and cause political damage, as opposed to actual attempts to harm targets.

Sauer, whose identity has been verified to The Daily Wire, used his expertise to analyze an image of a package addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, which was first obtained by CNN. The former bomb disposal officer, who emphasized that he only spoke on behalf of himself, told The Daily Wire that the makeup of the device appears to indicate that it was intended to be intercepted. "It's highly, highly unlikely that this was a genuine attempt," he explained. "This is like holding up a bank with a toy gun."

"I would be very surprised that there are any actual explosives in them," added Sauer.

Reported that all packages were mailed USPS from Opa-Locka, Florida.

Not mailed from Opa Locka, but processed through an Opa Locka postal sorting facility. Reports indicates that the facility serves much of southern Florida. So we don't have a town, but do have a region.

I'm not sure that all packages went through the mail. A postal authority said the package to Soros did not. The postal carrier said he did not recall delivering that package.

The package to Soros is reported to have been in a mailbox. A private courier like UPS or FedEx would not put something in a USPS mailbox. That would suggest that a perpetrator put the package in the mailbox. That would mean being in New York and southern Florida around the same time. Either it was a carefully planned trip or more than one person was involved.

However, I don't put too much credibility into that conclusion. I don't trust the press with accuracy.

It was reported that the person who got the package to Soros opened it and found the bomb and then took it into the woods. That appears to be inaccurate. Soros has a large estate with a house set off from the nearest road with a bunch of tress or "woods" in between. The mailbox is likely by the road. A caretaker went to get the daily mail. As he was walking back to the house he determined that the package was suspicious and put it down (which would be in the "woods"). He then went back to the house and called the police.

We don't know for sure what is meant by the package being found in the mailbox and whether it is entirely accurate. However, there are two large mailboxes outside the gate of the Soros estate and not another box for private couriers. And the police have obviously looked into the whether the USPS delivered the package. So there could be something strange with a hand delivered package here.

I guess he's rather surprised then since it's been known for a while that the ones examined contained either gunpowder or a pyrotechnic mixture, likely from fireworks. Both are considered explosives, opps. Of course I'm still super impressed by his ability to analyze the devices from a blurry picture when FBI and Police are still analyzing them and they not only have the photos and x-rays, but the actual devices. Stunning.

And he could tell that all from a photo, amazing. Especially since the FBI experts have taken 2 days and careful analysis of the devices to come to the conclusion that some very subtle flaws prevented their detonation. But hey, he could see it all from a fuzzy image, he should get a job with the FBI, he could have saved them hours.
