Rethink your Trump hatred ?

Don't exhaust your "hatred for Trump and his supporters," hold some back for when Trump is re-elected and Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer (both in their 80's) announce their retirements. Hehehe and a yippee-ki-yay!

Your posts are really odd. Here in Canada when a government is elected, usually people are either glad or disappointed, but we all hope they'll govern well. But for you, the thought of a minority ruling over a majority and telling them what they can do, what they can put in their bodies, who they can love and what they can decide for themselves, fills you with glee.

I think you have an unhealthy relationship with politics, and a disdain for your fellow citizens.

This stops being a question we have to ask (at least in this way or in this context) if we don't treat emotional anger and intellectual opposition as the same thing.

Not I'm not like most of the tribes these days, actually putting effort into working myself into either the most angry frothing at the mouth frenzy over the other side to prove I've got the purist bloodline or spending all my time doing a freeform open mic comedy routine on the quippiest and cleverest insults I can put up for the other side, but the fact that so many people see that as the only way to politically oppose someone isn't my problem.

I'm doing "hating" Trump emotionally because it doesn't do any good. That doesn't mean I've stopped opposing him any less.

The fact that the tribes see anyone not tripping over themselves to hate the other side more then the last person as some traitor to the cause isn't going to grey the hair on my balls one shade.

Considering that when Trump says something, there's good money on the bet that he's lying, you wouldn't need to look hard at all.

So no, he didn't look at all, imo.

I’m more concerned about the impression the OP left on his son, who now has to wonder whether his father can read.

Do you have an anti-white party whose movers and shakers are primarily old white people? Try to make sense out of that. That's our Democrats, at least one of whom pretends she's an Indian, and none of whom will denounce the bullying and stalking of Republicans that some of their members actively encourage.

At least you have stopped cheering for people to die to promote your agenda.

Anti-white? Please. Don't confuse the Democratic party with the far-left fringe. Unless, that is, you can substantiate that claim, which you can't.

Is it the far-left fringe that grabbed hold of "white privilege" and won't let go?

Good to know.

At least we know now he should not worry about pleasing democrats, because even if he does bring about a Golden Age -- that wouldn't make him a good president. :D

Winning a championship doesnt make you a good player.

Well, yes it does -- which I assume was your point. If Trump brought about a golden age, I'd be the first to call him a good president.

No, it doesn't. A sport is not it's outcome but the means of getting there. There are bad players on championship teams. There is the classic refrain that Mike Tyson's championship doesn't make him a good boxer.

Are you trying to tell me that "white privilege" isn't part of an anti-white agenda? If so, please explain how telling whites to "check their privilege" isn't anti-white.

It is pro white. It is something us white people say to each other to make us better people.

When Trump was elected I was very disappointed and quite angry.

But in the interim between the election and inauguration Trump seemed to dial it down a bit. He backed off the "Lock her up" nonsense, he seemed to genuinely listen to Obama in his briefings. For a brief time, he didn't seem so petty.

I figured I'd give him a chance to at least play to his strengths.

So when he went in to meet with that HVAC company to save US jobs I figured "well, if nothing else, he can negotiate, right? He's a businessman, he has to be able to work it." And at first he seemed to have success. But when the details came clear it was obvious he done nothing but save jobs that weren't going away anyway. I was grumpy at his touting of success when it obviously wasn't but I figured it was a losing battle anyway.

Then he went to the Pharamcuetical companies to negotiate prices. I figured here he would have better success. Drug prices are much more negotiable than industry jobs and there was room to hammer them home.

But no, he came out with the Pharma companies getting everything they wanted.

Being a Central Atlantic citizen, I had always known Trump was a blowhard and lousy at actually running business, but I assumed he had two talents: self-promotion and business negotiation.

It didn't take long to realize that the latter 'talent' was a joke. He has no negotiation skill, he thinks bursting into the negotiation room demanding ridiculous concessions will get you the middle ground you want. That doesn't work well in business, and it fails utterly in politics.

I am hard pressed to find any qualities this president has.
