By the same reasoning you're using, I will likewise predict a series of unfortunate events during Trump's tenure. Those unfortunate events that occur during Trump's tenure must, by your form of reasoning, be Trump's fault.
Two of those events that were caused by Trump: inadequate assistance to Puerto Rico after Maria, and the the travesty of removing immigrant children from their parents.

What did I actually say about the tweet in question?

That says $4.5m. Neither the figures of $7.7m nor $9m appear anywhere. Can you quote the part that you think supports your assertion?

Weird, you totally cut out the part where I asked YOU for a citation.

Pro tip: if one is going to link to lies with zero comment, one is adopting those lies and Seth’s lies become one’s own lies.

Addition, 7.7 plus 9 plus million as of March 2018.

Thanks The Big Dog

We should keep in mind there are plea deals everyday which don't involve cooperating with prosecutors except to avoid expensive prosecutions in exchange for guilty pleas to some of the charges.

Could simply be Manafort wants to get the trials over so Trump can give the pardon even though Trump could do that before the trials are over.

The other possibility is Manafort thought he could beat the charges, now he knows he can't. Might as well bargain for a reduced sentence.

Can you quote the parts that you think support your assertion, please? I can't see any of the numbers you're quoting any either of those documents.

Are you seriously telling me that you are refusing or perhaps unable to Perform simple addition?

That is remarkable.

As others have noted, Trump doesn't necessarily benefit from pardoning Manafort. If pardoned, Manafort could no longer claim the Fifth, and could be compelled to testify fully and completely about all his dealings for and with Trump, going back to their first interactions in the '80s. He may have figured out -- or quietly been told -- that he can't count on anything from Dear Leader.

Scooter Lewis Libby outed Valerie Plame to NY Times reporter Judith Miller.

After Armitage had already done so to someone else. And it was Armitage’s leak, not Libby’s, which actually got published. Going after Libby wasn’t about finding the truth.

What's to stop Manafort from simply saying, "I don't recall" ?

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that I am unable to "Perform" simple addition. I'm asking you to provide evidence for your assertion. Can you do so?

No it wasn't. What we do know is that Libby at a minimum confirmed that Valerie Plame was an agent and he did it as retribution for her husband's op-ed.

Those are not magic words, especially if the feds produce documents and other testimony about his activity.
Amnesia is often a favorite response from witnesses in criminal and congressional investigations, and it’s often the most truthful reply — but people caught up in scandals can wind up facing perjury or other charges if prosecutors can later show they were intentionally trying to dodge tough questions.
