That may happen where you’re from, we in the US are far too busy rebuilding those countries to worry about grabbing power. You really ought to know better.

I find it truly fascinating that so many here think this could actually be a possibility with president Trump. No mention from you how the left in this country constantly tries to change our constitution so it isn’t so limiting on government. How the left in this country constantly tries to take over whole industries. How they are tolerant and support free speech yet they do all they can to squelch speech and are the definition of intolerance.

Some of you are in deep denial. No matter, you’re losing elections because most get it.

I see. Things that you want to be emotional about are proper and good uses of emotional argumentation. Things that others choose to be emotional about are not. By your analogy, you liken your love of the flag to ice cream. Do you get two scoops like Donnie Johnny or are you still outside the window looking in. And my concern about children being wrested away from their parents only "because we can", that's like sawing a log? Somehow the analogy fails.

That analogy was posted to show how ridiculous yours was.

This process demands more then emotion to solve it because it can be complicated. Emotion certainly is involved but emotion can also make it much worse. Which is what the demorat bill does.

Very slight, I expect. Somehow I have a feeling that the percentage of American goods which are hand-carried into Canada by regular consumers rather than moved through other channels amounts to such a small fraction that "infinitesimal" would be a wild exaggeration.

It affects him negatively and he can’t deflect the blame onto others, is the most obvious solution.
