Please Big Dog, regale us with your vast legal knowledge and what this could possibly mean. I'm in need for a good hoot today.

Avid readers of the thread will recall that the DoJ under Obama handed out immunity like candy to Hillary's team during the investigation, I am certain that we are going to learn much about that in the coming weeks.

That Obama is the worst. We should make up a nickname for him like "thirsty" or something. That way people will know we're witty and serious

You wouldn’t rather comment on what is coming out?

If you want a good nickname for him, bath house Obama has always given folks a smile.

What do you want me to say? Saying that Comey mishandled something doesn't really toot my horn. I don't love the guy, I don't even like him, in fact I think he sucks. If he goes to jail it shows no reflection on myself, or the political party I support.

The difference between you and I. If someone is guilty, no matter what party, I think they should rot in jail. I don't need to defend Comey, Hillary or anyone else. I just get a kick out of the ruffled feathers around here over someone that's means virtually nothing in the political sphere anymore.

One wonders if you ever read any of this stuff before getting so excited about it. The issues that seem to be going to come from this report according to those that have seen it and are mentioned in the article, have nothing to do with the investigations itself, but rather how information on those investigations were disseminated to the public.

In Comey's case that was in announcing that charges would not be filed over the E-mails, something that was supposed to be done by the Attorney General, and then later going against the DoJ recommendations not to publicly announce the finding of the emails on the laptop.

In MacCabe's case it was the leaking of a conversation between the DoJ and himself were the DoJ recommended that the the investigation into the Clinton Foundation be dropped due to lack of evidence, and he refused and continued the investigation anyways, and that he then went on to lie about not knowing who had authorized the leaking.

The funny thing is that if any side should be angry about what this report is going to show, it's the Democrats, because currently what appears to have been uncovered is that is that throughout all three incidents, the way the message was given to the public, it was done as if to say that Hillary had done something wrong, but that they were yet to prove it or just couldn't prosecute. These announcements feed directly into Trump's claims, and each of the announcements dropped her position in the polls, the last one likely being significant enough that it may have cost her the election.

I'm not really quite sure why you seem to be so primed for a report that will most likely end up saying that "Comey and the FBI were unfair to Hillary in the way they made their announcements about the investigations."

Taking down a sitting fairly elected president is very serious. If people did things dishonestly to get that done, we ought to know about it.

That certainly hasn’t been your pattern, you seem to defend your side endlessly, the same as I or any other on the right. So clearly no difference between you and I. ;)

What fairly elected president was taken down? That does sound extremely serious, let me know when\if that happens. What specific things listed in that article did Comey do to "take down" a fairly elected president?

Your opinion of my posting style certainly doesn't make it anymore true. I highly doubt you've read all of my posts, and you're literally replying to one that goes against your claim.

The official date for the release of the OIG report is June 14, with the IG set to testify before Congress the following week.

Given that the only thing that has been leaked so far is that Comey was insubordinate (which appears to have been leaked to try to spin the news about idiotic tarmac meeting with Lynch and Hillbilly Willy) we should expect the report to be scathing.

Scathing? This'll be good.

Of I guess you’ve forgotten everything we’re discussing in this politics section? You can’t think beyond this particular article? Lol

And somehow amazingly that negates your posts.

Which clearly and obviously should tell you I don’t believe you aren’t as partisan as I. ;)

Wrong place to post....got confused because there is Clinton email stuff floating in other treads
