Probably. But what would make it stupid? What would be revealed that would make it stupid for Trump to release them?

We already get the very clear impression that it would be bad for Trump, which is kind of why we're so damn curious.

Because most people walk up to the edge when it comes to taxes, why would a person deliberately open themselves up to it? Especially when the only fools that want to see it is the left, **** em!

I understand that it would be stupid to release his tax returns, but does he have to lie about it?

It pains me that such an obvious lie, i.e. that he will release his returns when the audit is done, is a winning strategy. It means that either people are incredibly stupid, or people would rather hear a lie than the truth.

I am confident that we will not, in fact, get to see Trump's returns, unless those returns are part of evidence of impropriety on his part. I believe that Mueller has integrity and will only release evidence if it is needed to support a legitimate aspect of his investigation and document his findings.
Lol

Yes, his hiring of all Hillary and Obama supporting people would be a clue in that integrity.

No, they don't. In fact the vast majority don't do anything like that. Now, Trump undoubtedly walks up to the edge and then walks a mile past it. But it was Trump who said many times that he would make his taxes available if he won the nomination and then didn't keep his promise.

I bet Trump's boss is mad today.

The House and Senate reached veto proof agreement today on tough sanctions against Russia that cannot be undone without approval by Congress. The bill was passed by the Senate 98-2.

Putin's going to be pissed.

Trump is pushed in a corner; either veto the bill and look guilty as hell, or sign it and risk whatever Putin has on him coming out. I'll bet 10 internet points that he vetoes.

Evidently the only fools who expect Trump to keep his own promises are on the left (**** 'em, I guess).

Well, except for folks like Ted Cruz, Joni Ernst, and (from the Freedom Caucus) Mark Sanford, Ted Yoho and Justin Amash- all upstanding members, I'm sure, of "the left." (Can't wait to see where the goalposts go from here)

I don't know. Even his boss must know that would be futile.

Guess he should have invested in buying more Congressmen. Build a broad and diverse portfolio. I believe Sanders and Paul were the only Senators against it.

I guess we'll find out.

At the moment, it sure seems like people on the right, including the administration, are trying to poison the well so that when he wraps up the investigation and presents his findings they can say, "Bah...they're all a bunch of Democrats. You can't trust them."

Looks to me like the plan might be to not even let it get that far -- just use it as an excuse to find a way to fire Mueller.

That's really hard to do. When Mueller was appointed as FBI Director by W. And he was appointed as special prosecutor by his own Justice Department. As much as Trump wants to claim he's being sabotaged by enemies it doesn’t hold up to scrutiny.

It was what the main stream pre$$titutes won't tell you.

It is the deep state created by Obama and Killary. That's where the enemies lie.

Did I do well CE?
