Pringle was sentenced to death in 1980. The death penalty was not
abolished until 1990. Pringle was sentenced to death under a special provision because the victims were

Yes, his sentence was commuted, but that has never been the issue here. The issue was your claim that
"Pringle was never on Death Row" (comment #1897) when, in fact, he certainly was.
