Who will Trump fire first?

At this point, isn't Spicer more of a liability after he is fired and goes off on how ****** a job it was. His book could be the first tell all blockbuster about the Trump Administration.

To be honest Spicer has a very tough job. He has to provide some consistent and credible explanations for Trump's daily stupid tweets and statements.

I wonder how many months (weeks?) he will be able to do that and if he will not quit even before being fired.

At least this is what you would expect from any person with a spine...

If he quit, Trump would just insist that he was fired. Usually it's the opposite; somebody turns in their resignation, and you know it wasn't voluntary.

She did it multiple times so it seems she thought that no one would find out there never was a Bowling Green Massacre.

I don't think it matters if people find out. As Trump has demonstrated, it doesn't matter if you lie and then double down on the lie when it's exposed, as supporters either just remember the lie (because it 'resonated' with them ie they want it to be true) or they dismiss the 'proof' of it being a lie as just being that nasty media that has it in for him and who you can't trust.

Once you successfully discredit the 'relatively' objective media, you can get away with anything.

Unfortunately this is part of the way society is going, in line with the 'having had enough of experts'. Basically thick people have realised that in an increasingly mechanised and complex society, they're no longer really needed and this is part of the strike back...It's like bullies at school picking on the speccy bookworm because he makes them feel inferior in that setting but they can show their superiority physically. Or something... I'm no psychologist or judge of human nature...

There are reports that Trump is having one hell of a time finding a communications director, with 2 people having turned down the job already.
If you are a really good communications/PR person, why the hell would you want the job?
You are working for the Boss From Hell, would have to spend most of your time cleaning up his messes and defending the indefensible, and you would probably make a lot more money in the private sector anyway if you are really good.

I thought Spicer was communications director as well as press secretary.

Got to feel sorry for Spicer, how foolish would you feel.?

He makes me think to the guy who walks behind the elephants during a circus street parade. His only task is to collect the **** they let behind and make it disappear... :p

It has to be Spicer. Trump always fires the person who makes him feel the worst about himself.

I also wonder who will be the first to scream "I've had enough" and quit.
I suspect Preibus if that story that he has already had to be talked out of quitting is true....

Which is why Trump is having such a hard time finding somebody really good to fill the Communications Director spot.

And the winner is: Cory Louie

As baffling as this is, it’s even more frightening in light of the news that Cory Louie, chief information security officer for the White House’s Executive Office, has left his post.

Originally reported by Atlantic editor Steve Clemons last week, ZDNet was able to confirm the news through sources of its own on Thursday. According to ZDNet’s report, Louie was “escorted out from his office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building across the street from the West Wing” last Thursday, but it’s still unclear whether he was fired or asked to resign by the new administration.

If Conway is indicted for ethics violations regarding her endorsements of the Trump brand does that count?

Flynn's looking favourite right now; told Pence that he hadn't talked to the Russians about sanctions. However US intelligence probably have transcripts of those calls.;)

Things are looking bad for Flynn but Trump values loyalty to him over competence. Spicer appears to have taken the top spot.

That's a tough one. Spicer is looking foolish which The Hair likely sees as Spicer making him look foolish (not noting that The Hair is making The Hair look foolish). But Flynn is taking a lot of space on the news splash pages. The Flynn story will have legs. We're going to get bits of it at a time. Drawing it out, may be what ends Flynn's brief stint as National Security Advisor.
