Who will Trump fire first?

Once again the Rightwing shows that they have appropriated a term without a clue to its meaning.
If a news agency reported that
"Rumor is Ryan had to beg him to stick around and try and keep the train on the rails. Allegedly, Preibus was ready to quit after week 1." and there was no truth to it you would not consider that fake news.

Not necessarily.

Did the reporter actually hear such a rumor from someone who they know is in the know? If so, then it's not fake news. Not great reporting but not fake news.

If the reporter just heard some random person stating the rumor or if the reporter made it up, then yes.

Bowling Green Massacre.

Spin it any way you want. She didn't mispeak, she lied.

Spin it anyway you want President Obama believes there are 57 states.

Do you believe she thought that no one would find out there never was a Bowling Green Massacre? Do you really think she thought she could lie about it without it easily being found out as a lie?
You really don't think the more likely explanation is she misspoke?

I'm thinking TDS is probably even worse than ODS.

She doesn't care if anyone finds out.

Cosmopolitan did an interview with her a few days before and she mentions the Bowling Green Massacre to them.

Given how consistent she was about it not really. Of course these are just alternate facts not lies. So you can't even claim she misspoke she was just playing with an alternate set of facts.

Alternate facts are clear and distinct from lies after all. Just ask Kellanne.

She did it multiple times so it seems she thought that no one would find out there never was a Bowling Green Massacre.

Maybe she was lying. I always thought she was referring to what might of happened. But when she clarified that isn't what she said.

There's no 'maybe'. She was lying. That's her job and she's really not very good at it.

To be fair, Trump's cronies are saddled with having to tell absurd lies. She might be a capable liar but handed a script too crazy for B movies to work with.

It is an alternate fact not a lie. For it to be a lie she would have to accept that there is such a thing as objective reality and historic record.

I'm with Donal. Spicer's too front-and-centre. Trump, a) will probably not like the increased attention that Spicer gets, and b) will quickly tire of any kind of re-interpretation of his words. Spicer's job is damned if you do or don't.

At this point, isn't Spicer more of a liability after he is fired and goes off on how ****** a job it was. His book could be the first tell all blockbuster about the Trump Administration.
