No, but there'd be an awful disparity between the red and blue states.Doing away with the EPA would not do away with all environmental regulations.

Hmm, let's see if you can figure out why there aren't that many old growth forests down south [sic].Plantations are down south, there isn't a plantation market where your precious old growth forests are.![]()
Because most can't afford what rich leftist can.![]()
When a group asks that their feelings and beliefs be left unchallenged that is the definition of asking for a safe space, no matter their ideology.
Personally, I would be more embarrassed by hypocrisy than empathy.
As usual it's dishonesty, no one fighting for this things are asking for a safe space, that is your side asking for it and setting it up for the poor little cowards.First off, you've no idea as to "my side." Second, the right has been bitchin' about protection from scary ideas for just about ever.
Wah, protect me from evolution.
Wah, protect me from teh gayz.
Wah, protect me from any evidence-based information that challenges my intellect or pocketbook.
Wah, teh athiests.
Wah, I can't just dump chemicals into any available watershed.
Wah, I have to clean up my mine waste.
Wah, I can't bring my gun everywhere.
Wah, teh muslims.
Wah, teh meskins.
Wah, protect me from everything I don't understand or like.
How's that for honesty?
Reality from the leftI am not from the US, I am in a country where there is a REAL left.
And yes what I mentioned is the bloody stupid attempt to create safe space where evolution don't pollute the mind of their childs. You may protest it as much as you want, but it is quite clear that christian are not "fighting for what they want" they are often fighting to be protected from information they do not like. In other word, they want a safe space free from that info.
Exactely. But i don#t expect logged to admit to that.
Your first clue might be that evolution isn't banned anywhere. Your second clue would be that Christians don't oppose interracial marriage. My brother is in one and so isn't many that go to my church.I noticed they are cowards, desperately trying to save themselves from awkward information that challenges, embarrasses, and even negates their superstitions. Bans on teaching evolution, bans on interracial marriage and gay marriage, attempts to censor anything and everything that doesn't agree with their world-view.

The Bangladeshis can neither afford your liberal dream, nor do they have your alarmist tenancies. They like most others have given up on your hoax. Most can't afford a less hospitable earth either. Just ask the Bangladeshis.
They like most others have given up on your hoax.
Somewhere in the multiverse Ivory-billed Woodpeckers, Passenger Pigeons, and Bachman's Warblers are disagreeing with you.Not much need to have old growth on the East coast.
Forests are managed for watershed protection, biodiversity protection, air quality, carbon sequestration, recreation, etc. in addition to the provisioning of pulpwood and sawtimber. The EPA is interested in all of these things, as should every American. That is why we manage forests.
No **** Sherlock. As far as dumping chemicals into a watershed, that is just stupid.
I do my best. Are you going to accuse yourself since you continue to buy goods from polluters?
No, but there'd be an awful disparity between the red and blue states.

Except now you can add economics , there's a new sheriff in town and he's going to be looking out for people and their families.
Anyway, who doesn't want warmer oceans and longer summers?
