Perhaps one good thing about Donald winning over another Republican is that maybe Putin will get Donald to keep the Iran deal.

It is possible there is much exaggeration. However, such statements when the thermonuclear countdown just got closer are not entirely bereft of merit. We did see two major world wars last century, so they are not fiction. Honestly, if you are Japan or Korea, what investments are you now considering earnestly? UK-less Europe will also be doing some soul searching. Minimum: more nuclear launch submarines, coming up!
 
I don't see any problem with Putin.

I'd like to see Trump and Putin form a joint plan to expel Islam entirely from Europe, level every mosque, and retake Constantinople.

We are again in rare agreement.

I'm mainly commenting on what I see as hyperbole.

Having someone in power who may be seen as a loose cannon may actually increase our odds of a peaceful world. Maybe something can be worked out to stop the slaughter in Syria, for instance. Not sure what that "something" might be, but perhaps now when red lines get drawn by Trump, they might actually be seen to have teeth and get parties to the table.

It's time to take a breath, and see how this all sorts out.
