Good to see you agreeing that Trump is unethical for being secretive about his tax returns.
Congrats on spinning my comment. I concede you may be right. On the other hand, it would be huge distraction for Hillary to divert attention from her failings. MAYBE that is the reason.
Apart from hyperbole which Trump openly admits to, do you have any hard facts that Trump has personally engaged in unethical behavior. The admission about groping women does not count. He states that they "let you". Consent is not assault. And there is no evidence of any criminal complaint against him. And no corroboration of the various women with claims.
How about Hillary and her reputation among the public for being "secretive" about many things.
I hear the "spin" is that it is okay because all politicians do things for their own benefit, and are untrustworthy. Apparently the same standard does not apply to Trump because he is not a politician.
Despite the conspiratorial conjectures of Clinton’s opponents, her politics hide in plain sight. She is a committed progressive on many issues, including the rights of women and minorities; gun laws (she would expand background checks, close gun-show and Internet-sales loopholes, and repeal legislation that immunizes the gun industry from liability litigation); and, more recently, immigration (where she favors comprehensive reform, a pathway to citizenship, and an end to family detention).
...
For the most part, however, Clinton is distrusted in ways that have little to do with her own choices, beyond the choice to be part of public life. She has been the target of twenty-five years of hatred, misogyny, and conspiracy-mongering, endlessly metamorphosing from one confected “scandal” to another—Filegate, Benghazi, the State Department e-mails. As each one has proved to be more smoke than fire, the fury has found another target. Now attention has moved to the WikiLeaks dump of her staff’s e-mail. Thanks to the tradecraft of what appears to be Putin’s hackers and his fond desire to unnerve the American political class, we now know that Clinton’s aides exchange fevered political calculations; that they say in private what they might not on television; that they make the occasional thoughtless or arrogant remark. Not since the release of the Nixon White House tapes has any political figure had private communications subjected to this degree of public scrutiny. Yet no dark alter ego has emerged. Whatever Americans think about Hillary Clinton, we cannot say that we don’t know her. We do know her. And there is a great deal to admire.
...
Just as President Obama was able at certain moments of glaring injustice and crisis to focus the country on matters of race in a potentially lasting way, Hillary Clinton, who has emphasized in her campaign and throughout her political life such issues as early-childhood education, paid family leave, and equal pay, could also change the nation in deeply consequential ways. That’s a thrilling possibility for all Americans.

The 2016 presidential election could be the most scandal-plagued match-up since 1884 when James Blaine’s allegedly corrupt business deals squared off against Grover Cleveland’s alleged illegitimate child. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton is the nominee, bringing with her a train-car’s worth of baggage. But the Republican candidate is at least as saddled with controversy as Clinton is—and while many of the Clinton cases involve suspicion and shadowy links, many of Trump’s are fully documented in court cases and legal proceedings.
The breadth of Trump’s controversies is truly yuge, ranging from allegations of mafia ties to unscrupulous business dealings, and from racial discrimination to alleged marital rape. They stretch over more than four decades, from the mid-1970s to the present day. To catalogue the full sweep of allegations would require thousands of words and lump together the trivial with the truly scandalous. Including business deals that have simply failed, without any hint of impropriety, would require thousands more. This is a snapshot of some of the most interesting and largest of those scandals.

P.J. O’Rourke: I’m Endorsing Hillary Clinton, the Devil We Know
…I endorse Hillary Clinton for president. She is the second-worst thing that could happen to America. I endorse her. And all her pomps. And all her empty promises
… What kind of witch hunt leaves goodwife Hillary not dunked in a pond? Wicked and all wet though she is, I pledge my all to aid Hillary in confining Donald Trump to the stocks on the It-Takes-A-Village green. (Bernie’s already been pressed under heavy stones—a real pair of stones—Hillary’s.)
… Hillary is wrong about everything. She is to politics and statecraft what Pope Urban VIII and the Inquisition were to Galileo. She thinks the sun revolves around herself.
… Better a mangy cat than a rabid dog.
… Hillary, you are the crone in crony capitalism. I endorse you.
… Hillary, I endorse you although you don’t belong in power—you picture of self-satisfaction out of doors. Count me the Iago of your supporters, you ding-dong bell in your West Wing, wild-cat in your can’t-stand-the-heat-get-out-of-the-kitchen, plaster saint in your injuries, player in your housewifery, and housewife in your bed. (Sorry, my mistake, that’s somebody else’s wife in bed with your husband.)
… You’re a smug one, Hillary,
You really are a snoot,
You’re as cuddly as a cactus, you’re as charming as a newt, Hillary,
You’re a bad banana in an garish and expensive power suit!
You’re a limousine liberal, Hillary,
Your heart’s an empty hole,
Your brain is full of Sidney Blumenthal, you have boiled kale in your soul, Hillary,
I endorse you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!
