It will look entirely indistinguishable from a full on race replacement and complete demographic overhaul of ALL white nations including the entirety of Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia. Every country in that category will have gone from about 90% White on the low end and often much higher than that, to minority White and with prominent social narratives about Whites being privileged villains too, in the space of about 100 years and in many cases far less than that.

Every one of those nations, from leaders down to working class, would've found that transition both horrific and unthinkable as recently as a few decades ago. The people who really shaped these nations, named them, defined them, and fought to create them would have been even more opposed to it.

People are OK with the changing demographics of countries like Canada and the US because the ideals of the country are still broadly accepted, regardless of the ethnic background of the people. You'll find that most Americans expect to work hard for their own betterment and that of their children and that they are the final arbiters of what is good for them.

Besides what you're arguing is essentially that white people are weak and inferior compared to the dynamic other races that are changing society. Your argument boils down to "white people can't compete when the deck isn't stacked in our favour, so we've got to re-stack the deck," which in the minds of any individualist should be anathema - "I'm going to win because I'm as good as anyone else."

It has indeed been "a reliable source of conflict" for millennia, but I'm not seeing that as something we need to preserve.

But I would like to see if we can at least keep this from becoming a thread derail. Do you believe that white people will fare better, and be more likely to regain some of their former dominance, if Donald Trump wins the election? If so, what is it about him that makes you think that will be the case?

ETA: Earlier you asked a question that you wanted an honest answer for. My honest answer is that I don't see being white as a significant part of my identity. Being American, yes. Being Irish, somewhat. Being white? Huh? I think I have a lot more in common with my black neighbors in America than I have with the white residents of Liverpool.
