Analogy.

You go to court for a simple stop sign violation. You tell the judge you weren't driving that day. The state produces photographic evidence that you were, in fact, the driver.

The judge may cite you for contempt of court or perjury and have you cool your heels for a few nights in jail. It would be wrong to say you went to jail for running a stop sign. You went to jail for lying about it under oath.

That was where Bill went wrong, and why he lost his law license. It's wrong to say it was about "a consensual bj". It was about lying about it in a sworn deposition which is a crime, even though the root cause may not have been.

Perjury is not evidence Bill is a "known sexual predator" now is it?

Not to mention how many people there are who lie in courts about affairs who are never charged with perjury.

I specifically did not choose to use the word "perjury", because I don't know if that would apply to what Bill did. But regardless, lying under oath is a crime of some sort, whether or not the state chooses to charge it.

You complained the charge against Bill was for perjury, not being a "known sexual predator" and I pointed out the oft repeated charge is "known sexual predator".

and then (deliberately) misinterpreted the "also at many polling places" part to somehow imply that the election rigging included the polling places.

But this ignores the public charge being put forth. Few if any people are calling Bill a perjurer.
