I wonder if Trump will use this internet self-selected poll to gloat about.

M'dog pities any dog that would have Trump.
A Dutch talk show tonight claimed to have held a poll about the debate among pets.

We got to see a series of cats and dogs that either ran away or started howling as soon as they saw Trump. :)

By her account Alicia Machado says she gained about 12 pounds. At 5'7" that isn't really a "massive amount of weight".
Certainly no one deserves to by publically humiliated the way Trump did her. If Ivanka gained 12 pounds would he do the same?
This will not ingratiate him to American women, and is frankly offensive.

One thought that struck me while watching last night, yes many Canadians watched it, was how hypocritical it was that Trump referred to Ted Cruz as "Lyin' Ted". Donny is faaaarrrr from being above telling whoppers. I watched CNN after the debate. They played their own interviews that demonstrated that D.T. is very wrong on his contention that the Clinton campaign "pushed very hard" on Obama's birthplace.
He also claimed their was a great deal of evidence that he opposed the Iraq War prior to it's commencement. It just isn't true. There is a few statements by Sean Hannity that the two discussed it in private, but that's about it.

Nor was he correct, and he must know this, on characterizing the money paid to Iran as a pay off.
The Shah of Iran's government ordered weapons from the USA and paid $400 million in advance. The weapons were never delivered since the Iranian Revolution overthrew the Shah. It was widely, and correctly reported that the money paid to Iran was that principal amount plus a negotiated interest. That interest was less than present day Iran was in international court to claim. In this issue no one was lying other than Donny.

But they won't be the people that will decide the election. It's the people on the margins. The undecideds will swing the election.

That is correct. It's the fence sitters who these debates are aimed for. Those who already made up their mind, will simply use the debates to confirm how awesome their candidate is.

The other thing he called her, "Miss Housemaid", is even worse. It's outright racist, as if latinos are only good for certain menial jobs.

Yes, he is quite offensive, and thinks he has "reasons" to talk about her
being "the absolute worst". He is still stinging about something Rosie
O'Donnell said about him. He is such an immature old goat.

I thought he was set straight about this $400 million dollar payment?
A month or two ago, I thought he had some kind of conspiracy theory
in regards to this money, and that he saw it on TV! (so, it must be true!)

Has he spoken to anyone other than Fox News?

I noticed last night that Clinton's mic was closer to her than was Trump's. Probably due to her being simply shorter. The mixer pre-amp for his might have been set slightly higher which would mean it would pick up more extraneous sound than hers. He complained that she was louder than he was though, so that doesn't make sense. If there was a pre-amp difference it was minimal. I certainly had no problem hearing him.

He complained his mic was cutting out. No, it wasn't. Such a cutting out was absolutely not noticeable on air. However, the mix set for the live audience may well, and probably was, different than for the TV audience. It's done to account for room effects we simply don't have in our home living rooms. The original source for both mixes though was his mic and if there was a problem with the mic itself it would have affected both live and TV sound.

Possibly he was referring to his mic not being as loud during times when her time to speak. I expect that each of them had their mic levels dropped about 3db when it was the opponents turn. If one was told they had two minutes to respond then the other's mic would be dropped a bit lower during that period. If Trump is upset that his interruptions were not as loud as he had wished he might look over a thing called etiquette.

I'd love to see them shut off the microphone of the person who isn't speaking. Trump interrupted Hillary quite a few times.

How does one distinguish betwee Trump-speak and extraneous sound?

I find listening to him an effort. It brings out the 2nd Amendment in me.

And perhaps he's just making up something to whine about. I tend towards the latter personally. Good to see an expert opinion, though.
