Presidential Debates

Donald just said he was proud of himself for not going after her husband's infidelities in the debate. What a dumbass.

No, that he did not bring up that bill is a sleaze who had fat interns perform fellatio on him in the Oval Office.

Oh, that whole bit was staged. He has bloodsucking leeches as advisors and as supporters. They wanted to see Lord Nasty McStupid do his nasty stupid stuff but they knew that wouldn't sell in Cherry Hill so rather than not just going that route, he slipped in his "oh, I've got all the insults, the best insults, why I could've trashed you right here because those ads are meanie ads" to show what a class act he is.

Except it was staged for just that effect and when the media wasn't picking up on what a gentleman he was being.... Kellyanne was on a microphone saying how classy that was, but Trump was lining up for his Hannity suck-up-session and proceeded to tell everyone exactly what he "could have gone after". Hannity's comment was his usual bobble-head-you-go-donald-you're-the-bestest-and-wonderfulest sycophant routine.

The only thing he resisted was to have a neon message scroll across his chest saying "Google Bill Clinton Sex Scandals". Class, pure class.

None, it was pretty obvious.

Oh Donald you called Hillary mean names!

Lolz

Funny. You really did watch a different debate from the rest of us. ITRW people were laughing that Bully McBullyface was crying because she put out a lot of ads saying mean things about him.

Not to mention the fact that Hillary's anti Donald ads are just Donald saying horrible crap.

He will claim the opposite. That most people think he won the debate.

And that's what they're doing on his Twitter account. It features screen grabs of highly scientific Internet polls published by Brietbart and Drudge (among other places). There's one sure-fire way to tell if a poll is good: If it has Donald winning.

I actually hope that Donald thinks he won. Makes is less likely that he will prepare more for the other debates. Not that it is likely he would prepare anyway.

Sadly for him that is taking the moral high ground!
Well she's wouldn't be totally lost for words if he did. "Sometimes a lot happens when two people remain committed to each other for 41 years."

I'm sure she practiced for him doing it. In fact, she may have been disappointed that he didn't. Oh well, there are two more debates.

Did anyone notice that the cameras made them look the same height? Donald is like 7-8 inches taller.

Chris Matthews just read a Trump tweet where he says that climate change was a Chinese hoax, contradicting his lie during the debate that he didn't.
And why does he bother denying it? Why not just say "I'd negotiate a tough treaty with China on emissions"?

Then see how far that piece of hubris would get him.

He's a pathological liar.

Plus it is Republican dogma that climate change doesn't exist so he can't admit it does.

I don't think he's going to have any tolerance for going over the game tape. It means he would have to admit that he went in unprepared. I'm not sure he's capable of that level of humility, insight and introspection.

I think the way his ego works, he totally believes he won. He will be angry and annoyed with anyone who suggests otherwise.

That's part of the staging arranged by the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Gender dynamics
One thing Clinton won't be able to practice her way out of are the pitfalls she'll likely encounter because of her gender. Monday will be the first time in American history a woman will be on the main presidential debate stage, and that comes with its own set of considerations. As President Obama told ABC's Robin Roberts this weekend, "I think there's a reason why we haven't had a woman president before, and so she's having to break down some barriers."

Clinton will probably be subject to more commentary about her outfits, the frequency of her smiles and the pitch of her voice than Trump will. And then there are the more practical considerations: Clinton, at 5'4", is much shorter than the 6'2" Trump. To offset the difference, the Commission on Presidential Debates agreed to use podiums tailored to each candidate's height.

The camera angles and such are probably also chosen so the height difference isn't noticeable.

He could still sell this as a treaty about air pollution. My point is China would take extreme umbrage at being blamed for more than its share of pollution as it developed.

I shouldn't criticize him for a comment he didn't make, but two possibilities: He doesn't want to anger China, or he's telling voters he no longer think's it a hoax. This could be the bid for the independents.

I don't think he can prepare any better.

That's a tremendous advantage for Clinton.

Well Donald Trump is probably the only person that could convince some people that climate change is real.

Clinton got a zinger and the mod followed with asking about the birther issue. Trump resorts to blaming Clinton for the birther movement.

:sdl: OMG, Trump is losing it. He credits himself for getting Obama's birth certificate and says now we can go on to defeating ISIS.

Trump moves into CT territory.

I'm waiting for Obama to come out with the fact that Trump had NOTHING to do with his releasing his long form birth certificate. :) :) :)
