Hillary Clinton is Done: part 3

I had pneumonia a few years ago when travelling in Italy. It didn't stop me doing a thing, and I didn't miss a day of work when I returned. I was 62 at the time.

I had pneumonia when I was 20-years-old and in Army Basic Training at Ft. Dix NJ. I was in Walson Army Hospital for three days. I have never felt any worse than that.

Sure, Kaine would probably fare well. After all, he's not Trump and he's not Clinton, but which do you think is more likely:

Clinton is sick and steps aside, or:
Clinton is sick but stays in the race.

As it stands, I'd bet her overall health is fine, especially if a physician came out and gave her the all clear. But that's not how a lot of voters will see it, and the narrative again becomes, "What's she hiding?"

According to a prediction market, the proposition "the next president will be a woman" just fell from seventy cents this morning to sixty-six cents. "Will Clinton drop out by Sept. 30" jumped six cents (to nine pennies). Looks like an opportunity to take money from Trump supporters, but who knows.

I think she might be sick, but not chronically. So I doubt she withdraws. This is news today, but likely to be ancient history if Hillary gets back on the campaign.

I use to date an incredibly active woman. She ran marathons, we rode bicycles, skied and hiked and I always had trouble keeping up, but she passed out twice on me. Hell, on one of those occasions she got very sick. Still, my bet is she out lives me.

Yes, and I was hospitalised when I had it about 15 years ago. My point was that pneumonia can range from mild to severe. HRC's is most likely of the mild variety.

Perfectly healthy people can faint but I was surprised that Clinton is on warfarin. It's a fairly risky drug. Not a good combination with falling down. Its first use was as rat poison because it caused internal bleeding. Users need regular blood tests to guard against this.

I also found this odd (reported on CNN):

She received her most recent physical exam on March 21, 2015, according to the the statement.

I'm surprised she doesn't have more regular exams, but I certainly believe she's in fairly good health. It's a non-factor to me. I don't think Trump is in perfect heath despite that stupid doctor letter.

ETA: WHOOPS!!! I think that "statement" was the doc's in 2015. I assumed it was a current statement.

It was a sweltering New York morning. The mercury had just cracked 80. I felt great, except for a slight case of pneumonia...

Hardly. The Clinton haters will never let anything go. They're like retarded pit bulls. The more insane and stupid the theory they tighter they grip, losing their grip on reality in the process.

She has an pneumonia but she's "feeling great."

Again, I believe she'll be fine, but what a phony. She can't say, "I feel like ****."
Maybe she does feel OK. You faint, you recover, no reason you won't feel fine.

As for the pneumonia, meh, could just be the doctor finding an excuse to prescribe unneeded antibiotics, or could be 48 hours after starting them, you can feel fine.

Exactly. Honestly, pneumonia has as broad range of symptoms, all this, she shouldn't feel fine, is nonsense.

Ladies of a certain age can have hot flashes for years after menopause, especially if they're not taking lady pills.

You're fine, then suddenly dripping sweat.

ETA: Then you're fine again.

Of course. Everyone needs to be aware of the dangers of hyperthermia when it's 84 out and 46% humidity. People keel over left and right in those conditions.

Why, if it happened to me, and I wanted to go the doctor, I would just be overreacting, right?

Actually people do need to be careful at 29ºC and 46% humidity.

(Which by the way, I'd find extremely hot since for me the comfort level is in the region of 18-22ºC)

It is at the lower end of the Heat Index, but it is in the Caution range, and remember that Heat Index is based on being in the shade, Clinton was in direct sunlight, so that makes it a higher risk*.

*ETA: Having looked it up, direct sunlight would increase the perceived temperature about 5.5-8.5ºC (10-15F) so she would have been effectively standing in perceived temperatures of 35-36ºC which would have moved it from Caution to Extreme Caution on the Heat Index Table.

I stand corrected. Ancient history for normal people. In a couple of weeks she'll be on the stage with Trump for 90 minutes. If she seems vigorous, this incident will be meaningless to swing voters. Trumpkins and those with chronic cases of HDS will keep pressing the case just like birthers.

Will they shake hands? Maybe she can infect him with something. Though he's germ-phobic, reportedly.

My father had a diagnosis of pneumonia they treated for nearly a month, six weeks later he was dead from lung cancer.
I'm sorry to hear this. I don't think that's Hillary's problem. I could be wrong, though.

We don't know what Hillary's problem is. I think her campaign would have said it was pneumonia and dehydration regardless of what it really is. Also, it's not a good sign to be getting pneumonia in the first place. It's an indication of a weakened immune system, especially if you get it outside of cold and flu season.

Just another series of lies from the Hillary camp.

Bet they are happy with their investment in a dark pantsuit and the heavy duty Depends today.

She feels fine!
