Trump's impression of a disabled reporter did not amount to much anything.
I'd bet for at least a few "fence-sitters" that was the final straw.

Except in this case she had a stroke.
Interesting since polling suggests that Trump's mocking of the disabled reporter for some voters to be very persuasive in turning them against Trump. My guess is unless Hillary has more fainting spells this is highly unlikely to be a moment that will mean anything to undecided voters.Indeed. Trump's supporters framed her as a person in poor health, and here she posed for the picture.
Political campaigns are about moments. This is one of them. It's difficult to predict what will come from it. Howard Dean's relatively innocuous "wrestling scream" solidified his doomed candidacy. Trump's impression of a disabled reporter did not amount to much anything.
When I first saw this story, I expected Trump supporters to make a big deal out of a common slip, but that's not a good video. Whether it's important or not, people want leaders who are physically strong.
That stumble is a visual metaphor for Trump's brain-functioning. The worst thing the Donald could do is Tweet about it. Just sit back and let the media have its feeding frenzy. Then come out with "People say she looked awful."
If there's any double standard regarding health, it almost certainly would be in favor of a female candidate. Women do live considerably longer than men, after all, and women are more prone to fainting (due to lower blood pressure and other things).
I will make a forum bet with anyone that think her health issues are significant enough that it will end her campaign or something.
Well, if "Ending her campaign" includes losing to the worst candidate in all history, I'll have a chocolate bar's worth of that.
I'd rate Hillary's health* as the number one reason she could lose from here.
*Regardless of whether it's an issue in the real world.
I hope they didn't poke an eye out while sitting on that fence.I'd bet for at least a few "fence-sitters" that was the final straw.

The worst thing that could happen to Trump is Hillary getting real sick and Kaine replacing her at the top of the ticket. Then it really would be a landslide.
That explains a lot - if true.
I just turned 67. I've been quite frankly amazed at the pace both candidates have maintained at their ages. I just walk the dogs and feel like its time for a nap!
I can still do a lot - I still fly, ride motorcycles and bicycles, do long road trips with the RV, yard work that sort of thing. But, to echo Dirty Harry - a man (or woman) has got to know their limitations. I no longer trust myself scurrying around on the roof any more. And pacing is essential.
That was quite an episode today, but unless it was shown to be neurological, it would have no effect on my voting decision. Its no wonder presidential candidates can suffer from exhaustion. I'm no Hillary supporter, so I don't think this is apologetics at work.
As an aside, Karen and I are catching up on The West Wing. It's quite fascinating how many story lines from that show are still relevant and inform what's going on today. Especially...
President Bartlet's having MS that he did not disclose in the election. And the implications thereof.
