You nailed it. It's like people forget just how bad it could be. It's like they forgot the foreclosures, the wars and the other issues.
Having the US default on its loans may just be the worst idea on the planet next to using nuclear weapons haphazardly. Both of which Trump has suggested.
I'm a Democrat and haven't been a fan of the last 5 Republican presidents, but never was I genuinely afraid of them being elected. I'm genuinely afraid of Trump being elected.
I am non-partisan, lately leaning slightly Democrat. I thought that George W. Bush was the worst president of my lifetime (I ignore Nixon, Ford and Carter since I was too young to know what was going on). I thought his father was okay, and he's grown in my estimation, but I still regard him as lukewarm. When I was a child and teenager, I thought Reagan was great, but he has decreased in my estimation.
Clinton was okay, maybe pretty good, Obama a bit weak.
Trump is the single worst candidate I've seen, a real loose cannon. Hillary has some significant concerns -- she is not forthright and open about the email scandal, for instance -- but I will proudly support her given the competition.
