Not sure the word is "forced to". Well, forced by circumstances maybe, as refusing to do so would raise ******** alarm even faster, right?

I can also guess that in most countries, you can´t refuse to file a report or go to the police to testimony, if the crime was of such nature (as armed robbers wearing police uniforms). Even if the crime was against you, it's not the kind of crime you can simply say "nah, I dont care, I don´t want to file a charge".

Pretty simple.

32 year old with the maturity of an 18 spoilt brat who has grown up thinking he is special.

Part of me wishes he was sent back for being a prick.

But he will just get a slap on the hand and a "Don't come back to our country you spoilt prick" if he apologises
 
The Olympics Committee has issued an apologetic statement to the world. They are sorry for what these guys did and sorry for the distraction. They say that repercussions could occur for the guys when everybody gets back to the states... meaning that the Committee might hurt them. I saw the text of the statement on TV so I'm paraphrasing. It might be on the web now.

The Olympics has apologized, but the knuckleheads still have not. The shame is increasing with each passing hour. Lochte in particular needs to tell the world that he is a complete idiot and he is sorry. He needs to be on his knees when he makes that apology.

Mr too! I hope he is sent back and then sentenced to "Homosexual-Rape Prison": that will cure him of his lying ways. :thumbsup:

It's world-wide man, all the third world nations, like... France.

I was introduced to police corruption in the Alps just about 40 years ago now.
I gave the Gendarme about a third of my gram of hash... and he walked away.

:p

(I was a rather concerned 15 year old for a bit there. :eek: )
