The All Purpose Hillary Clinton Thread

How in the heck would that have happened? Besides the birds and bees part. I don't think that American women were traveling to Germany during World War II in order to have affairs with Adolph Hitler. It sounds like the premise for a really bad historical fiction porn movie.
Visit the Illuminati thread and Kyoon will explain it to you. Hitler survived the war. Angela Merkel is also Hitler's daughter, iirc.

Don't forget Nancy Reagan during Ronnie's senile years.

Nancy was very protective of Ronnie and was known for getting involved in personnel and staff issues. . If you even uttered even the tiniest criticism of the President she would take you down. I've read that she pushed Reagan to negotiate with the Soviets on arms and fighting drug abuse was her crusade. Still, I don't think she was as involved in policy creation as Eleanor or Hillary. But we will never know.

We are also ignoring Edith Wilson. Woodrow Wilson had a stroke half way into his second term. And everything flowed through her. It is said she was the first woman President.

We have one member here who believes she is the daughter of Adolph Hitler. I wish I was making that up.

I'm struggling to figure whether that's a step up or down from alien reptiles.

I agree, it seems to me like the whole reason she wants to be president, is to be the first female president.

I'd have to temper that by saying Trump wants to be POTUS for exactly the same reason.

Were these people deprived of toys when they were kids? Lose too many times at Life, maybe?

Why the **** didn't you people pick Bernie????

...Why the **** didn't you people pick Bernie????

Self-fulfilling prophecy, they were too afraid there were too many people like themselves who liked his ideas they just knew that too many people like themselves wouldn't vote for him because they were afraid too many people like them wouldn't vote for him.

A vicious cycle of idiocy.

Margaret Thatcher
Angela Merkel
Indira Gandhi
Golda Meier
et al

Like them, she's a woman who is determined to leave her mark on the world.

It's part of a reasonably new phenomenon where people enter politics not to do anything, but to feel the power. Winning for winning's sake. In that regard, she's identical to Trump.
No she is not and this BS new narrative straight out of the GOP's Convention talking point is crap like the rest of the slew of GOP, brought to you by Frank Luntz's latest focus group, talking points.

No one seeking the job of POTUS does not want power. That is a completely different fact than the BS that's all Clinton wants.

It's also sexist. A woman seeking POTUS wants power more than anything else? Really? What is that *********** based on? How is Clinton any different than any other POTUS or POTUS candidate?

The GOP is so sly inserting this narrative into the public discourse, I bet you cannot find a post of yours with the accusation "all Clinton wants is power" before two months ago.

Don't forget Nancy Reagan during Ronnie's senile years.
Seriously? You are comparing Nancy just-say-no, horoscope believer Reagan with Hillary Clinton because she ran Ronnie's affairs after he left office?

I'm sorry my friend but if that was not a joke it should have been.

... I've read that she pushed Reagan to negotiate with the Soviets on arms and fighting drug abuse was her crusade. Still, I don't think she was as involved in policy creation as Eleanor or Hillary. But we will never know....
Yes we do know. And unless you can cite a scholarly article, "I've read that" is not reliable supporting evidence.

Oh, you poor thing. Get over it.

More accurately, get over yourself. There's one Bernie supporter in these threads who withdrew their support based on a litmus test: YOU.

I believe that if all the highly improbable maybe/if scenarios had fallen into place and Bernie had actually taken the nomination or if Hillary is indicted tomorrow or caught up in a love triangle with Ben Carson and Larry the Cable Guy, we'd be supporting Bernie. You wouldn't be able to because he didn't pass your litmus test. This is according to your own pronouncements from on high.

There are numerous progressive and left members here who are supporting Hillary but who contributed to and worked for Bernie. It's that ugly concept, pragmatism. Even supporting most of his positions albeit too far to the right for my tastes, I was more in fear that the GOP slime machine would eat him alive. We've stated this over and over. Of the current noise-makers on the Hillary side, most of them/us were sympatico and supporters of Sanders.

Did you see the GOP convention? You don't think that stopping those scumbags is a noble enough cause?

This is your fantasy and I daresay definitely not why I or my friends voted for Clinton.

No, Reagan was definitely showing signs of dementia while still in office. The fact that Nancy had strange ideas does not impact on the increasing influence she had on him during his last couple of years as president.

I'm sure you thought it was her turn, and really believe that she will be all that you hope she might be. But most who are supporting her are merely afraid of the alternative, and the images of how bad it might be if she doesn't win.

It's also sexist. A woman seeking POTUS wants power more than anything else?

Just to show how badly you're painting it, I said after that that Trump was exactly the same.

Really? What is that *********** based on? How is Clinton any different than any other POTUS or POTUS candidate?

Bernie, for sure. He wanted to make change.

Even though he's been an almost-complete disappointment, Obama had the right intentions.

I seriously doubt Billary's.

I do find it amusing that your support of her is clouding your judgement here - I am 100% not giving a crap who wins, although the comedy value of Trump should not be underestimated. Whatever he does won't affect me - I'd be astonished if he knew where NZ is.

The GOP is so sly inserting this narrative into the public discourse, I bet you cannot find a post of yours with the accusation "all Clinton wants is power" before two months ago.

Nobody asked me, and my opinion categorically does not come from any Republican source at all.

I'm not trying to prove anything. Those are stories told by White House Staffers.I Googled Nancy Reagan and found a few articles that have said this. Believe it, dispute it....do whatever. That's ancient history to me.

Highlights from Donald Trump's speech discussing the "egregious crimes" committed by Nurse Ratched in a Mao suit, Hillary Rodham Nixon:

When innocent people suffer, because our political system lacks the will, or the courage, or the basic decency to enforce our laws, or worse still, has sold out to some corporate lobbyist for cash I am not able to look the other way. And I won't look the other way.

And when a Secretary of State illegally stores her emails on a private server, deletes 33,000 of them so the authorities can't see her crime, puts our country at risk, lies about it in every different form and faces no consequence — I know that corruption has reached a level like never ever before in our country.

When the FBI director says that the Secretary of State was "extremely careless" and "negligent" in handling our classified secrets, I also know that these terms are minor compared to what she actually did. They were just used to save her from facing justice for her terrible, terrible crimes.

In fact, her single greatest accomplishment may be committing such an egregious crime and getting away with it, especially when others who have done far less have paid so dearly.

When that same Secretary of State rakes in millions of dollars trading access and favors to special interests and foreign powers, I know the time for action has come.

Seems that The Orange Fungus is getting legal advice from the noted firm of 16.5, Sunmaster, and Slings 'n Arrows, Esq. As they say in their ad,

"Just drop on in, Main Street in Boheecusville. You have an inconvenient truth you don't want to deal with, we'll re-write it so's you sound like ol' William Jennings Bryant, hisself. No fact too ironclad. Supreme Court decisions? Hell, we know what they really wanted to say but were too a-scared to. Inconvenient investigation results? Inconclusive hearings. Well, pshaw, Elmer. We spin 'em like frisbees during a storm. So get yourself in to Sixteen Point Five, Sunmaster and Slings 'n Arrows. You wont regret it.

We also handle divorces - from reality."

Dear oh dear - are you telling me you aren't aware of criticism of her duplicity when it comes to women? Ive posted these links before, but I guess you missed them, so here are a couple of starters:

http://observer.com/2015/11/why-bernie-sanders-cares-more-about-womens-issues-than-hillary-clinton/

http://www.salon.com/2015/11/02/the...sold_out_working_women_then_never_apologized/

I am quite aware of all this and I reject it. Furthermore I condemn those that continue to believe in it.

You don't find it a little hypocritical to be claiming to stand for the oppressed when she's supping with the oppressors?

Oppressed? Wall Street is not a police state and I have yet to see any evidence of her helping them.

Seriously?

A woman who did not even support gay marriage until 2013? Yeah, she's an LGBT champ alright. She hopped on the bandwagon once it was clearly supported by a majority.

My mom didn't support it until 2014. Did my mom hop on a bandwagon or possibly did she see and accept the same evidence that convinced others once it hit a critical mass?

Regardless she supports them now and her husband did make several key and important steps towards equality when he was president.

Yes, many of her policy goals are excellent, and it's clear that people are prepared to forgive her despicable past in the hope those election promises ever come to fruition.

Despicable?
