She has made her pivot and her blatant fiscal and international Conservatism should be apparent even to the most adamant "it's her turn"ers.

Should be an interesting convention.
 
Why didn’t the Democrats even mention the Clinton Foundation?

You’d think Hillary, Bill and Chelsea would want to use the national stage to tout how their family’s $2 billion foundation is “helping improve the lives of millions of people across the world,” as it boasts.

But not a word that we can recall. No speeches, no videos, no personal testimonials — nothing.

The silence is hardly mystifying — for the Clinton Foundation carries heavy baggage.

Starting with the FBI’s investigation into whether any “intersection” between the foundation and the work of Secretary of State Clinton violated anti-corruption laws.

Fact is, mentioning the foundation would have shined a spotlight on just how the Clintons acquired their massive wealth in a few short years.

To his credit, during the whole four day convention Bill Clinton didn't drop his trousers even once (as far as we know, anyway), besting his previous record of 30 minutes.

However, he did sleep through Crooked Hillary's acceptance speech. But who can blame him for that? Just like her sparsely attended rallies, it was a dull and boring snooze-a-thon.
 
Okay I need to ask what is probably a dumb question....

What exactly has Hillary done that makes her so evil in people's eyes?

Okay I get that people think she lies, but that doesn't make her evil, it just makes her a politician, and on the scale of politicians untruths and honesty, she gets better marks for honesty than a lot of politicians do.

I get that she voted to allow Bush to use force on Iraq, but then so did a lot of other senators, even the Democratic party ones, does that make them all evil too?

I also get that she used a private email server, which has been described as dumb, but how is it evil?

Yes I know some accuse her for Libya, even though it was President Sarkozy and PM Cameron that came up with the plan and were going ahead with it even if the US said no.

I also get that she's been accused of a lot of things without evidence and that have never stood up to scrutiny when investigated...

So what is it that she has done to inspire all the hate and the belief that she is in league with the devil?

Please I'm interested in this, so let me know and give me the evidence that she actually did it because when I look at what she has really done, it's things like making sure that America Kids with disabilities can go to public schools and get the same education as everyone else. To make sure that million kids in poverty are covered by health insurance. To make it easier for foster kids to be adopted, particularly the older kids who would often have been over looked. To set up studies for black students. To create programs for low education parents to help their children study and do better in schools.

Her policies include having a living wage so that people working 40 hours a week have enough to live on. To get equal pay for equal work. To ensure that everyone has access to medical coverage. To make sure that students don't end up with crippling debts just for getting an education.

How are these things evil?

So please, what exactly is it that she did?
 
I don't think she did anything that justifies any opinion that she is evil. The media has been attacking her (without substantiation) for 20 years, that's why people think she's evil.

She's a woman and wants to be President.

I find it rather strange myself about how people attack her. Here is a woman who has been involved in politics and activism for over 40 years, even before marrying Bill, and yet if someone didn't know her and only went by the posts on this forum criticizing her you would swear her career consisted of:

Being First Lady a long time ago; then nothing until . . .
A few years ago she showed up at a Goldman Sachs seminar, grabbed the mike, said, "I totally voted for the Iraq War, Yo. BENGHAZIIIII!!! YEAAAAH!" then ran off home to send some notes on her private email server in the basement while rolling in a big stack of money that had been given to the Clinton Foundation by the Saudis.

A couple of posters (newyorkguy, skeptic ginger) sometimes try to mention the wider scope of her long career but by and large people are just focusing on a snapshot of negatives and not looking at all the things she worked on over the years.

If you've been in politics long enough you'll make decisions that with hindsight were wrong (and in some occasions she admitted as such) other times you might decide something that an individual voter would not have agreed with but it's pretty much impossible to please everyone.

She appears to have developed some sensible policies (if you are left-leaning), she has more experience than pretty much anyone, has a very, very good understanding of how being President works. No, she's not as far to the left as Sanders but for a leftist voter she certainly is not a pit of evil. Why aren't most Americans looking at the wider scope of her accomplishments and her current plans and policies when deciding who to vote for?
 
When she was first lady, she said she wasn't going to spend her days making cookies. That pissed off a whole lot of people.

Equally important, I feel, is that she was the architect of the first attempt at universal healthcare, was a savvy woman politician and had aspirations to higher office. "Best nip that in the bud. We never should've given 'em library cards, I tell ya."

According to the Washington Post fact checkers, Crooked Hillary gets "Four Pinocchios", the highest number possible within their rating system. Proof positive she is a barefaced liar, as if there were still any doubt.

Further, she lied to the House Oversight Committee while under oath -- perjury is a felony and carries a possible prison sentence.

U.S. Code 18, Section 1001:

"Whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."​

Forty-six percent of voters nationwide say they'll vote for Clinton in November, while 39 percent say they'll back Trump. The race was tied last week after the Republican convention. Clinton led by a similar margin in June.

It's statements like that that push people towards Trump. It is one thing to vote for a candidate. It is quite another to be non-critical of her, which you are advocating. Would you prefer the Press simply ignore what they perceive are blatantly dishonest statements she's made, because Donald?

All politicians lie, spin, and burnish the truth, it seems to be a part of the job requirement. When it comes to honesty, Hillary is actually pretty good as far as most politicians go, and compared to her opponent in this election who lies every time he opens his mouth, even to the point of contradicting himself in the same sentence, she's almost squeaky clean.

Why do you accept all the other politicians that lie whenever they open their mouths, but demand pure honesty from her?
 
She'll make a fine liberal president and appoint all the judges I want. She won't start new wars and wont send any more ambassadors out to weird new countries.
