No. Good material doesn't stop being good material because you've used it once. On the hand, it's debatable that the reused material is good but that's just criticizing the speech.

Yeah. The whole convention has themed around hate Hillary Clinton, brown people and sometimes the Kenyan Muslim because of these conspiracy theories with a smattering of we like Donald but can't explain why.

It won't make a gigantic difference, but they are really lucky it didn't happen while Saturday Night Live was in season, and that Jon Stewart is no longer on the air.

I honestly don't know right now who is on or who is off. Is Colbert live this week? Basically, it's political comedy gold. That kind of thing can really hurt a campaign. There are a fair number of undecided voters whose major exposure to these campaigns is going to be a comedy skit.

Colbert is live this week and Monday Night already brought Jon Stewart and the "Stephen Colbert" character back for a bit.

Children frequently speak at the conventions. Donald just has more of them than the average candidate of late. The weirder bit is they are the only speakers that had any relationship with him prior to his running for President and their stories so far paint that relationship as an acquaintanceship.

I disagree. He read the speech and it sounded fine.. Nobody expects the boss to have a memory of other speeches.

You don't need super memory, there is software that checks for plagiarism. Free software even. And it's standard in the speechwriting biz to use such software.

Melania was given a speech that didn't include parts from Michelle's. Then she took it and changed it to be more authentic. By plagiarizing Michelle, apparently.

And really, it makes more sense that way. It is hard to believe that a speech writer could be so stupid as to do that. But Donald's trophy wife? Makes way more sense that she would think it isn't a big deal and that nobody would notice.

Did someone forget to tell everyone speaking tonight's theme was Make America Work Again? It's mostly, "Benghazi! Emails! Benghazi! Sexual abuse! Benghazi!" all over again. Have they already resigned to losing and are just working to de-legitimize Hillary Clinton's Presidency?
