It's too bad that none of that is true. Why not write your own thoughts instead of cutting and pasting others?
Hillary's original motivation for having a private server was to circumvent transparency laws (FOIA). And when questioned about her improper use of a private server, she then lied to Congress while under oath (perjury). New polls indicate that the majority of voters (67%) now consider her to be a "dishonest and untrustworthy" liar.

Of course the email scandal is a whole litany of what's wrong with Clinton. It will go down as a textbook case of how NOT to handle a scandal.
We're just starting to see the fallout from it, and it's godawful bad news for Clinton. In two major polls post-email (CBS and NBC), 66% of people view Clinton as dishonest and untrustworthy.
If Clinton can't get those numbers down, and she wins, 2/3 of America will think their president is a crooked liar. I don't think even Nixon was ever this reviled.
Apparently, yes, yes you can.Or you can run for office and have 2/3 of the electorate think you're dishonest and untrustworthy....
Apparently, yes, yes you can.
Every word of it is true. And those are my "own thoughts", in my own words -- sentiments now shared by the majority of voters.
And I can't wait for Donald's comments on the attacks in France if they are what we all fear they are.....

If Trump said the moon was made of Cheese,you would cheer him on.
Would. Require. Effort.It's too bad that none of that is true. Why not write your own thoughts instead of cutting and pasting others?
It just boggles my mind that with some members of the public Hillary Clinton has become the face of political corruption. She was my U.S. Senator for eight years and I don't remember any scandals. She's not perfect, she's not a saint, but she's far from the most corrupt politician out there. I wouldn't even put her in the top 1,000.
What she is, is an example of how the Republicans -- especially the very conservative and/or reactionary Republicans -- know how to do a very effective hatchet job on someone. That if they decide to smear someone, as they've proven, they're the masters. What they've done to Hillary Clinton they could do to anyone.
Historical Gallup polling shows over the past twenty-five years Hillary Clinton's favorable/unfavorable ratio was pretty good. In some years it was spectacular. She hit a few bumps in the road but always recovered. But look at the numbers over the past three years:
Link to Gallup site
- July 2014 - Favorable 55%; Unfavorable 39%;
- July 2015 - Favorable 43%; Unfavorable 46%;
- July 2016 - Favorable 40%; Unfavorable 55%.
The most frustrating part of this is, I think a lot of the people who continually bash her don't really believe a lot of it either. They know there's a lot of hype and exaggeration involved. But by being able to always cite Clinton's "dishonesty," as the reason they're against her they're able to avoid discussing her policies. What there is about her policies they don't like.
And that's the goal: move the discussion away from policies and programs and make it personal. With some people it works. The problem for the Republicans is, they have demonstrated this type of smear campaigning works much better in local races than in national ones.
Democrats ‘freaked out’ about polls in meeting with Clinton
Nervous Senate Democrats raised concerns with Hillary Clinton during a private meeting in the Capitol Thursday over a recent poll showing Donald Trump leading or tied in several battleground states.
The sense of uneasiness among Senate Democrats is heightened by their observation that Trump has stayed within striking distance in pivotal states despite being vastly outspent.
NBC News reported this week that Clinton’s campaign and allied super-PACs have spent $57 million so far, while Trump’s campaign hasn’t spent anything, and two allied outside groups have spent only $3.6 million.
Team Clinton has outspent Team Trump in nine battleground states by a 40-1 ratio, NBC reported.

But the Democrats are conceding it will be a close race. One of the big concerns is that recent polls showed Trump up 42% to 39% in Florida where Clinton had an 8-point lead last month. The Quinnipiac University poll showed Trump up 2 points in Pennsylvania, another big swing state, and tied in Ohio. The three states have been pivotal in the last four presidential elections. The email incident and the recent FBI criticism have obviously hurt Clinton.A senior Senate Democratic aide, who was not in the meeting, acknowledged that senators have raised concerns about the closeness of the polls at other times. “We wouldn't be Democrats if there weren't a few bed-wetters,” the aide said.
