Just kind of surprised he was willing to get involved in a kick starter movie (they are not going to pay crap) which is not a Jesus movie.
I can't imagine he needs the money. Maybe he was bored.

Don't kid yourself though, "God's Not Dead" cost $2 million to produce and made $62 million.
A very different account of the last words of atheists is given in http://www.thefreepressonline.co.uk/news/1/1830.htmFamous atheists’ last words before dying. Voltaire: ‘I am abandoned by God and man…I shall go to hell.’ Thomas Paine: 'I would give worlds, if I had them, that the "Age of Reason" had never been published. Oh, God, save me; for I am at the edge of hell alone…’
Thomas Carlyle: I am as good as without hope, a sad old man gazing into the final chasm.’ ... (etc, etc)
You don't need to read a book to understand it's full of lies. Perhaps you should do a spot of reading, I recommend Mortality, Hitchens' final work in which he kept a diary of his final years and never once softened on his detestation of organised religion and his feelings about the imaginary gods.
But hey, that might contradict something you desperately want to believe.![]()
Bwhahaha! You serious? The part I like best is that you already made your mind up, and then add that snarky "hey, that might contradict something you desperately want to believe."
Hey, with that level of irony you could corner the *********** steel market.
I don't need to read it to know it contains lies! That is Westbrook baptist level reasoning.
So are you arguing that Hitchens is lying in his videos or that they are faked?
Lolz. Rule of so.
Did you read the book?
I can't believe it. He advised people to cut down on smoking and drinking.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=lBgaEYV2BaY#t=483
Hear it from the man himself.
There are many books I have not read either but you can tell through other sources that they are basically BS. Same thing here.
Here is an excerpt from Michael Shermer about this book:
http://larryalextaunton.com/books/the-faith-of-christopher-hitchens/
Seems like it is well worth a read, because if Michael Shermer, Chris Hitchens and 16.5 are all on the same side, it is probably a good thing.
Gotta get me one.
An endorsement that Shermer has since withdrawn. Seems like more Christian dishonesty at work.

or ya know, you can read the *********** book.

Wait, it was honestly quoted and LATER shermer withdrew his support?
Seems like *********** shermer is the scumbag here, yes?
Typical nonsense.
Shermer might be an idiot for not reading the book properly before he endorsed it or he might have been misled but either way it's dishonesty on the part of Taunton to make a claim that Hitchens was somehow secretly Theistic based on supposed private conversations.
Now might be the time to say that in the event of anyone ever hearing or reading a rumor of such a thing, it would not have been made by me. … No one recognizable as myself would ever make such a ridiculous remark.
This is a very old game that goes back to Thomas Paine and David Hume and Voltaire, in whose company I have no right to be mentioned, and even with Darwin, to circulate outright lies about deathbed conversions.
Just a reminder, the book does not actually claim St chris of the Sauce Pot actually converted.
Of course, you don't have to read it tho....
