Continuation Part 15: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

And people wonder why the Knox family garnered the services of a PR firm.....

Nick Squires was a virtual mouthpiece for the lies the police told. In a galactic-journalistic display of laziness, the press simply went to the two kids social media sites and pulled stuff from there. Indeed, if events had conspired differently and Amanda had been killed, and Meredith had been falsely accused they would have found Meredith's social media stuff, dressed as a vampire with fake blood in her teeth - and lazy journalists like Squires would have vilified Meredith in the same way.

Thank you for pulling this out.

BTW - where are the bleach receipts?

Oreste Volturno attempted to discover the origins of this bleach by visiting merchants in the vicinity of Sollecito's apartment but he was unable to locate where or when the bleach was purchased.

So you are saying there are no bleach receipts.

So now there is no receipt?

Oreste Volturno attempted to discover the origins of this bleach by visiting merchants in the vicinity of Sollecito's apartment but he was unable to locate where or when the bleach was purchased.

Once again non-responsive to the question.

Did the police find receipts for bleach as reported by Richard Owen?

Why are you doing this? It seems by now, you must understand the question. You have been asked about the bleach receipts by everybody that is currently posting in this thread. Have you misunderstood everyone of them?

The cops said they smelled bleach on the sixth which would indicate the bleach had been recently used as the smell on lasts a few hours. But in cross examination the cop admitted it only smelled "clean"

IIRC Raf's cleaning lady came between the 1st and 6th. She had cleaned but didn't use bleach. There was no evidence of the use of bleach as in a glow when they sprayed Luminol at Raf's. Had they used bleach on the knife no DNA could have been on the knife.

The answer is, we don't know. It was reported 2 x ACE bleach had been bought within 45" of each other 2.11.2007. IIRC Owen's article says nothing about receipts, so is a red herring, anyway.

ETA Soz, so he did mention "receipts". Errors happen. Could have been the sub editor.

You are making a claim that Raff soaked his shoes in bleach. . . .You only have a reporters word for it.

I am now flummoxed. The mods here have telegraphed very well that we are to address the content of a post and not the poster.

Yet there are a whole series of non sequitors coming from this poster - 878 posts in 31 days which have contributed nothing except take us off madly in all directions. First there is a claim that Raffaele admitted to bleaching his Nikes, something he never said. Then there is this business about receipts for bleach, which some journalist was supposed to have said existed.

Then when asked to provide the receipts the poster points to a webpage which shows receipts collected by the PLE which had nothing to do with the crime.

Now he she is claiming that another journalist actually went on a search for the receipts and did not find any.

We now need direction from the mods. This is flooding of this thread with non sequitors, inanities, and generally meaningless stuff.

It is hard to know how to proceed with this random posting by the poster who, herself, never addresses anything to do with this thread.

Stop twisting my words. Nowhere is it said Raf "admitted washing his Nikes".

Oreste Volturno is a policeman not a journalist.

This is what I mean by spamming this thread. The alleged infraction Vixen said I made is a plain misstatement, and not applicable...

Vxen's original post was:

The trainer prints were originally considered to be Raf's as they had a unique deformed star pattern on the heel, which matched the print on the floor. Massei bent over backwards for Raf's dad and upheld it was after all, Rudy's print because of the matching box in his room. The addidas print is completely different to Raf's Nike 2 Outbreaks (?). So what was Massei thinking, anyway?

Especially as Raf had immediately soaked his Nikes in bleach after the murder and police recorded witnessing a strong smell of bleach at his abode even five days later.

Did Italian cops try to frame Italian Raf, whose sister was a carabinieri policewoman - one of their own.

Please explain why and how police framed Raf.

The way I put it was:

First there is a claim that Raffaele admitted to bleaching his Nikes

Which is wrong, in the sense that Vixen had not said that Raff had said it, but.... the way Vixen complains is by saying:

Stop twisting my words. Nowhere is it said Raf "admitted washing his Nikes".

So I was wrong on that.... but this whole thread is a farce to begin with.

Where are the bleach receipts?

As you did not witness the murder scene, either, Desert Fox, your information about this crime is similarly reliant on what has been disclosed.

Disclosed in the trials, not in the papers. You've been shown time and again that the early news articles were rife with inaccuracies.

ETA Soz, so he did mention "receipts". Errors happen. Could have been the sub editor.

It's not an "editing error". It's a pack of lies.

19.11.2007 TIMES Richard Owen
Police said that further evidence against Mr Sollecito had come to light in the form of receipts from a shop near his flat for bleach, bought on the morning after the murder and allegedly used to clean an 8in kitchen knife and Mr Sollecito’s Nike trainers. The first receipt was timed at 8.30am on November 2, and the second 45 minutes later, suggesting that the first container of bleach had not been sufficient. The bleach was also used to clean up the flat itself.

Your earlier post:
The early bleach story:

19.11.2007 TIMES Richard Owen
Police said that further evidence against Mr Sollecito had come to light in the form of receipts from a shop near his flat for bleach, bought on the morning after the murder and allegedly used to clean an 8in kitchen knife and Mr Sollecito’s Nike trainers. The first receipt was timed at 8.30am on November 2, and the second 45 minutes later, suggesting that the first container of bleach had not been sufficient. The bleach was also used to clean up the flat itself.
Tests have shown Ms Kercher’s DNA on the tip of the knife and Ms Knox’s DNA close to the handle. Police suspect that Mr Sollecito and Ms Knox attempted to clean the knife, failing to realise that they would still leave identifiable DNA traces.
The till receipts call into question Mr Sollecito’s account of events on November 2, since he had testified that he did not get up until 10am, when he was woken by Ms Knox.
He told police that Ms Knox had returned to his flat at 1am but in the morning decided to return to her own cottage to have a shower, taking him with her. They found blood in the bathroom and a smashed window, with Ms Kercher’s door locked. Police believe, however, that Ms Knox and Mr Sollecito smashed the window themselves to simulate a break-in.

Good friggin grief. This has been going on post after post and you are just now realizing that you quoted Richard Owen claiming that receipts for bleach exist?

So now that you have had this ephinony do those receipts exist? Did they ever exist?

And if you say you don't know what does that mean? Several strong pieces of evidence have been put forth that those receipts never existed. Does your response mean that you don't know in the sense that anything is possible? If it means that you think there is a reasonable chance those receipts exist or did exist what is your evidence for that belief?

This is the question that you have been asked to answer now for several pages and you have posted all sorts of peripheral bleach related information. You have yet to make a post addressing the issue of whether those receipts existed and why you think the evidence that has been put forth that they don't exist doesn't support the case that it is extremely unlikely that those receipts ever existed.

So again:

Did the police find receipts for bleach as reported by Richard Owen?

I think the answer is for us to be self policing. Focus on one issue at a time. Don't allow the thread to move in random directions by responding to every new claim while the claim under discussion has not been addressed.

As you did not witness the murder scene, either, Desert Fox, your information about this crime is similarly reliant on what has been disclosed.

When you claim something, the burden of proof is on the person who makes the claim. You are making a claim that he soaked with no evidence that is substantiated.

AMEN. Either Vixen actually stops trolling and addresses the avalanche of inaccuracies she dumps on the forum or she should be sent packing.

1. The definition of a boulder is a diagonal length of 30cm (12"). This fits a rockbrick 8" x6" x 6".

In case you hadn't notices, rocks (including the one used to break Filomena's window) tend to be more elyptical in shape so the 8” specified would be the largest diagonal.

So what are those two huge bottles of ACE bleach under Raf's sink, as starring in the police video RVBW(?) put up.

His housekeeper testified she did not buy it.

Read the testimony of the other housekeeper who was currently working at the CONAD store down the street since she took maternity leave from the cleaning job. She says she had Raffaele purchase the bleach, says when this was purchased and confirmed the quantaty that remained when she left.

Read the testimony of the other housekeeper who was currently working at the CONAD store down the street since she took maternity leave from the cleaning job. She says she had Raffaele purchase the bleach, says when this was purchased and confirmed the quantity that remained when she left.

FWIW, Vixen, I believe Dan O. is making the point here that whatever bleach Sollecito had hanging around was purchased previously to the time in question and thus there appears to have been no reason that Sollecito might have made a purchase of bleach during the time in question since if he wanted to use bleach he could have just used the bleach he had lying around. And the housekeeper provides evidence that he didn't use any of the bleach because she didn't note that any was missing.

The implication of this is further evidence that the bleach receipts that were reported by Richard Owen didn't exist.

So do you still think that Richard Owen was accurate when he reported on bleach receipts in the post you quoted?
