While I love yet another example of historical revisionism by people trying to disown the labels they created because those labels acquired so many negative connotations (due to their own behavior, of course), it's exactly this sort of response that led to the creation of the "OPCA" term. It's the recognition that all these idiots are using the same tactics and strategies, but simply labeling them differently every few years.

It must really piss them off that so many people have seen through their little scheme.

Speculation is that he missed reporting to the Selkirk RCMP on May 15th as ordered by the court. If that's the trouble we shouldn't be surprised that Dean, freemandia's #1 bad boy didn't walk into the RCMP post as ordered

In the past we could count on the Dean Clifford propaganda machine to swing into action and figure that whatever the Deaners said was 180 degrees off. But this time the PR effort seems a little slow in coming.

Dean got out on bail in late April. He was required to stay in the province, not have any guns, drugs and to report to a RCMP post on certain dates.

I don't think it is common knowledge yet what really happen. But as several people noted at the time of Dean's release there was little chance Clifford, the bad boy, could abide by the terms of his release.

I think he has figured out that he will be more famous as a "political prisoner' than as a guy who follows the rules. He may also actually believe the stuff he sells to others - that he has some sort of 'get out of jail free card' - somewhere.

That's an interesting comment. I guess Dean could be figuring that time in jail is a professional hazard of being Canada's muscular freeman.

Being a martyr is strong stuff. It proves to the faithful that Dean is standing up to the corrupt system, that he is actually doing something, unlike our fezzed friend for example.
 
It is we all kinds of people who will do crazy things to make a point just look at what the Sadhu did and still do to themselves.

Why? and why should we want ignorant tools like the "freemen" registering here to crap all over law and logic??? I will be fine if they just keep wiping themselves with yellow fringe and then using it as napkins!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Why? To accord the sort of free speech so often denied at freeman forums.

Plus freemen, like Bobby Menard, provided a certain amount of entertainment when they posted here.
