He's not forced to use Obamacare if he doesn't want to and since he hates it so much he shouldn't. He could buy insurance direct from an insurer in Texas if he wants.

Exactly, no one is forcing him to do anything. He can choose to go without healthcare, display the rebel he is! In fact, he would be in prime position to do it. He has the money to for most any illness the befalls himself or his family. Why not just eat the tax penalty and stand up for what he believes in? For being smart, he sure is really stupid. It is really fun watching people defend Cruz though.

Yes. He is signing up for it. It was someone else who said he was FORCED to do so. He isn't. Anyone in the country is perfectly free to sign up for insurance without the exchanges.

If you make that decision you can even still get subsidies! As someone who looked through the exchange, and spoke with people on the phone from multiple insurance agencies, I learned rather quickly. In fact, most insurance companies will walk you through the process themselves, at least they were willing to do so in North Dakota. Then again, we are a nicer population up here....
 
Well, he's "presumably" signing up, but he may change his mind after realizing the hypocrisy of it if he does sign up.
