Merged Senate Report on CIA Torture Program

I'll keep reading your evidence, but it is my opinion, the CIA would never release what they gained from these three individuals and there will never be a peer reviewed type study, I'll let you guess why.

Because it would be very embarrassing for the CIA.

Well, first, as pointed out, these weren't experts in charge of this.

Second, there is no evidence that torture was needed to save innocent lives, especially American lives. Quite the contrary, actually. The evidence available suggests that it was counter-productive.

Third, you were the one arguing that the US ought to be a hypocrite that ignores it's treaties. You clearly have a low opinion of the US.

Not very bright or informed people, I gather?

Well, wrong again but what's the use. I'm guessing you are the one that hates America. Why else keep pushing a clearly one side "study" that would never pass peer review of the colleges I went to. But it supports the liberal view that America is an evil country. If you feel this strong you should be over at the UN calling for the arrest of Bush, Channey, Pelosoki, all the members of the congressional Intellegence Committee. But it is easier here just to complain.

OK, you are free now to put further false words in my mouth.

Not even remotely true. I am very proud of my country. What I hate are those who want to drag it down into the muck, and for no good reason.

There was more than just one.

It really doesn't matter does it, we're talking about the grown up world of warfare. IMO they couldn't care less about embarrassment, just secrecy. Besides, wouldn't it be more embarrassing if secrets are revealed?

Torture is a very American ideal. It's up there with due process.

The efficacy of torture is kept secret because..why?

Because Libs will always drag down their country, will always hate the military, do not have the stomach for the hard things of war, most important, libs will always be on the wrong side of issues.

Agreed, lets hope from now on they'll be able to keep these things under wraps.

You must have missed the part where I said there was no good reason for using torture. There are far more effective, efficient, and reliable interrogation methods, not to mention legal and ethical.

It's almost like torture apologists would prefer the US to go out of its way to do things the wrong way.

And you somehow don't realize the vast majority of prisoners and interrogation situations involve the "other methods"?

It was used on three high value targets, spare me the drama.

At least those three helpless souls didn't get droned. :)

You have no idea what you are talking about. Any objective look at torture shows there is no intelligence gathering advantage to it. As I've pointed out before, science, history, logic, law, ethics, and even game theory back me up on this topic.

I don't know about Libs, but I want the US to be the greatest country it can be. Is it hateful to have high expectations?

lol
Objective?
I thought you were talking about evidence? Do you now see all the evidence you put up is opinion?

It was over a hundred, 29 of which where innocent.

Over a hundred were waterboarded? Where is your evidence on that one? Another left wing article, the democrat Senate report?

No one really knows the number, I'm guessing three.

Are.. are you really arguing based on numbers you just invited?
