There's also this glaring hole in the theory:

Even if you accept all her stated facts at face value--the dust is from the WTC collapse, and it contains a high ratio of foamified steel--there's no chain of logic towards concluding that it used to be part of the steel structure of the building. It could have been foamified steel dust sitting around in the buildings' substructure since their construction for all she knows.

Her whole premise is based on a long series of bald assertions.

IMO she's a complete fraud or delusional. I can't see another alternative explanation.

What do you think ? Would it be possible to extract only the metallic dust ? The rest would presumably be non-metallic.

Actually, when you burn charcoal in a grill some of the bits become magnetized. I wonder if Dusty's "WTC Dust" is just the remnants of someone's bbq?

That's missing the point entirely - I questioning the validity of her first premise - the source of the dust.

Isolating any metallic content still does not address the source of that metallic content - pre, post, or during WTC collapse.

The metallic signature would isolate it from other dists most likely and identify it with the known WTC dust which is also metallic.

Dr Blevins samples are NOT like the other WTC dust seen and collected on or shortly after 9/11 by various agencies and individuals.

That strongly implies they have another source than WTC, or at the very least an additional source to WTC.

I think most of us would accept that samples collected from a bridge shortly after 9/11, put in a bag and kept for a few years are legitimate WTC dust. They also might be contaminated or tampered with, but Dr Blevins samples are of unknown origin to begin with - nevermind the obvious contamination (cigarette butts indicate at least one type of such contamination).
