Would you shoot a Big Foot?

I would shoot one if i found out they don't recycle. But it wouldn't be to kill. Just a flesh wound. A teaching moment. Or maybe I would use a paintball gun... leave a scarlet letter....Besides, killing one might be dangerous. The friend Bigfoots and family Bigfoots might want revenge. That could end badly for me.

I would shoot it using a cheap camera. Out of focus. Wrong aperture. While running so it's doubly blurry and poorly framed.

Oh, wait...

One of my favorite movie quotes was said by Bob Hope in the Ghost Breakers. He was talking to the guy he thought was setting things up and said something like, (and I'm paraphrasing because I couldn't find the clip) "Do ghosts scare me? Probably. I'd probably take a shot at it. Imagine that, me shooting at a ghost. Tell your friends."

I'd say the same thing to anyone who thinks they can hoax. Sure, I'd shoot at one. Imagine that, me shooting at a bigfoot.

Tell your friends.

I can't imagine ever being in that situation, but for those that believe they say they supposedly run fast. Who was it that said there are two kinds of people, " The quick and the dead"? I guess shoot it in the knees or feet first, then finish it off before the clan descends.

Just imagine a 750 pound biped running through the woods really fast...

Imagine the pounding...

With feet that have a mid-tarsal break...

Or with the typical flat foot we see in supposed bigfoot tracks...

Big muscular humans generally run poorly, as do very tall humans, even though normal humans can run pretty well.

I would not shoot a BF unless it saw comin right at me. I would say 'I am going to shoot' then the person in the suit could opt out of the encounter. I would never take a scoped a hundred yd shot at one. That is ideal Hoaxing distance. Less than a hundred, and I am going to go tackle it.

No way would I shoot Bigfoot but I certainly would knife him/it (and you know how us Aussies feel about knives...)
