Will tariffs make America great?

Trump said the only health-care plan he would “SUPPORT OR APPROVE” would be “SENDING THE MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE” instead of to insurance companies, in a Truth Social post on Tuesday.

I guess like, let people pay unsubsidized ACA premiums, then give them a tax credit afterwards? That'd be somehow different than just taking the money off their premium.

Yet again we see here someone trying to apply logic and sanity to a Trump comment.

It is very different, one requires much less cash on hand to be able to get health care. Just a great way to kill the useless eaters while pretending you are not changing anything significant.

It seems broader than that.

It is taking a rickety, unwieldy healthcare system and improving it into a disastrously ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ stupid rickety, unwieldy healthcare system in an attempt to drive it off a cliff even faster.

More succinctly, everything Trump touches turns to ◊◊◊◊...for everybody else.

Why is anyone angry that gas prices in the US are lower now on the National average than they have been in the past 4 years? Why be angry that a dozen eggs are around $2? Is it because you were wrong about something or?
My fill-up last week (2.89 a gallon) was the lowest price I've paid since . . . winter 2023.

Not only am I not wrong about that, but also too, a dozen eggs by me are $2.99 a dozen. I wait for sales to buy pretty much everything, and have been since the pandemic.

Ground beed? Fogetaboutit. But even ground turkey is up about a buck a pound. The only places where Trumpian prices exist are in his head, and in his cultists.

Gas prices around me are around where they were a year ago. Eggs at the supermarket are still $3.99 a dozen and have been that price for months.

However I cannot drink gasoline, and gas prices won't help my medical insurance premiums. While I can eat eggs I'd rather have other foods as well and those prices have skyrocketed.

I'm not sure what stats you are using since Trump has been doing all he can to hide any data, but hey, you've earned your cult badge for this week I guess.

Gas price increased 30 cents a gallon here in mid Michigan.

Well, according to Gasbuddy online regular unleaded is $2.07 per gallon as of today in Nicholasville KY at Sam's club. I'm not sure where you are but I find the claim that your gas prices are the same now as they were a year ago kinda suspect? Almost unbelievable in fact, of course I'm a true skeptic so I rely more on proveable points that can be documented and verified rather than what someone claims or says alone. If your unverified claim is true, I wonder if you live in one of those areas in the US controlled by Democrats that have added more taxes on gasoline as the prices have reduced or some such thing? How is that helping citizens? Curious.

There's really no need for petty insults is there?
