:I see. So, what about live babies? What's their lobby like?
Can't expectant rabbits reabsorb their embryos? I remember reading that somewhere. Not that it's really relevant to this thread, but then, when would it be relevant? I may mention it at a meeting at work, just because it's interesting and it needs to be said. "Mary hired three new receptionists this month, we're having problems with a vendor, and female rabbits can reabsorb embryos in the womb. Oh, and Friday is Silly Hat Day." I love the corporate world.
so, checked the exhaust of your car for any holes lately?
Just a suggestion.
Well, if a society treats women like property, property can't be prosecuted, can it? Presumably, the husband would be able to give whatever punishment he wants. As long as we're asking outrageous questions... here's one I'm curious about (from a legal standpoint)... as horrible as it was, in situations (historically, or in some weird nation) where rape was not a crime ... (for example, when it was not a crime to rape one's wife)... how much... er, "defense" was permissible on the part of the victim? Could the victim be charged with assault and battery if they fought off the rapist?
"Your honor, there I was, forcing my wife to have sex with me, when suddenly she stabbed me in the leg! I demand full prosecution!"
I read that humans can as well, and in fact, as many as 20% of human pregnancies are originally multiple. Can't expectant rabbits reabsorb their embryos?
What exactly is a fertilized ovary? Why would you eat fetuses?
Would you eat unfertilized ovaries?

Supposedly the United States is the land of the free, but it doesn't feel all that free.
Why is it illegal to eat human babies? I mean, it's perfectly legal to eat baby chickens. And eggs, for that matter. Why can't we head on over to the local planned parenthood and pick up some abortus for breakfast?
Freedom my derriere...
Are you suggesting that chicken embryos are a common food?Besides chicken embryos, what "steaks of the unborn" grace your table?
No one seems to have mentioned the side note. Why can't we buy and eat abortus? I can't think of a specific reason.
Didn't someone actually eat a placenta on TV?
I didn't see it, but I vaguely recall reading about it somewhere.
Apparantly the placenta has the same DNA as the baby.
Eating placenta isn't as rare as you might expect.
Some people also take them home and put them in the ground and plant a tree on top of it. My wife left our ones at the hospital.
I didn't even want to cut the umbilical cord for my kids. I was in the room with teh wife, but I tried to avoid looking at anything like the afterbirth or holding the baby until the nurse toweled it off.
