BTW, I stopped reading here.
Have you ever read at least just one book on the Lebanese civil war? Just one? Seriously? do you have any idea what you are talking about? Have you ever even bothered to read the wikipedia article?
The ignorance here is astounding. I have no idea why you are laughing at historical fact.
Actually, has anybody on these boards ever even read a book, just one, on the Lebanese Civil war?
If so, I'd be interested in which one(s), because if anybody did, they sure did not give it any kind of close reading.
How can you all be so ignorant, and yet so sure of yourselves?
Please, for the love of God, at least, AT LEAST, read the wikipedia article. It's not very comprehensive, but AT LEAST it can give you all some semblance of an idea of what went on during those 10 - 13 years. I have a friend that lives in Lebanon (a Christian, so some of you might, *might* care if he were killed by an Israeli bomb), so Lebanon's history has been a source of interest for myself for years now.
Syria is Hezbollah's second largest supplier.
proof?
BTW, regarding definitions of state sponsors of terrorism:

So what? Just because I am a truther doesn't mean that when I give historical facts to ignoramouses that it is wrong.
watch:
Woodrow Wilson was president during World War I.
virus said:Oh and by the way; Truther.
I guess I'm wrong. Tell us virus, who was the president during WW I? I can't be right, because I am a truther, so please, let us all know.
What I find even more incredible, is nobody is even trying to dispute what I said with any kind of historical counterpoint. (a laughing dog is has no factual bearing on the events of the Lebanese civil war). Some are speaking in unfounded generalities about the current situation, but does anybody have the background knowledge to at least come up with some kind of historical refutation of what I have stated about the history of the Lebanese civil war? I'd be more than willing to discuss why Israel was not in alliance with Syria (although you would still get quite an argument from me).
I mean you are all able to put in the effort to give your opinions, are any of you willing to put forth the effort to at least read a book, before giving your opinions? The Lebanese Civil War is one of the most complex civil wars in modern history, and Lebanon itself has a very complex history, and yet, the discussion here is being reduced to platitudes, complete inaccuracies based on little more than prejudices, and of course, the all time dismissal via truthera.
It actually would be a bonus if you all read a book that included both the colonial history and the history of the Civil War, since obviously, the two are closely tied together, before posting your silly opinions and laughing dogs.
I await an intellectual response.
