Who's your favourite LOTR character?

[Orphia Nay]

Who's your favourite Lord of the Rings character?

Feel free to share your opinion, and respect other people's opinions, if I may be so demanding.

[Didaktylos]

Film, Book, Either or Both?

[arthwollipot]

Faramir.

[hgc]

I gotta go with Gandalf on this one. Sure he misses a lot of appointments, due to being imprisoned in lofty towers and the like, but he's the guy that sort of moves things along at critical junctures. And he puts on an awesome fireworks show.

[lionking]

Legolas. Book and movie.

[IDB87]

Seconding Faramir.

[The Greater Fool]

Samwise.

[D'rok]

Book: Aragorn. Movie: Boromir.

I manlove Sean Bean.

Watched Game of Thrones?

[D'rok]

Watched Game of Thrones?

Of course. That only deepend my manlove. In a manly way.

[excaza]

Liv Tyler

[seayakin]

Seconding Faramir.

Third for Faramir, I like him because he is a noble but tragic character given his father.

[Zax63]

I'm thinking about Treebeard but let's not be hasty. I'll get back to you in a few seasons.

Woah there Master Zax - no need to rush anything now.

[Myriad]

Queen Beruthiel.

She's totally cool because she has cats that can, apparently, find their way in the dark pretty well.

[FattyCatty]

Tied between Frodo and Gandalf. Frodo because he's human Hobbit - tries his best, makes mistakes, can laugh at himself. Gandalf because of his Gandalfness and because he likes the Hobbits (he also makes neat fireworks).

[Cayvmann]

Tom Bombadill, because he just didn't give a crap.

[Vortigern99]

Faramir and Pippin. Put 'em together and you get, well, me.

[Morrigan]

Been too long since I read the books, but none of the characters stood out that I recall, Aragorn was kinda cool but the rest were mostly boring. From the movies, I'm going with Boromir.

Book: Aragorn. Movie: Boromir.

I manlove Sean Bean.

Who doesn't?

Though, in the movies, both Aragorn and Boromir are hawt. And Eomer, too. Eomer most of all. Mmmmmmm.

Of course. That only deepend my manlove. In a manly way.

I thought you hated it...?
